There, went this fellow.
Time spent, though short, yet mellow.
We'd feast on our thoughts of the day.
Play naughty, we never felt below.

Remember when it drizzled so hard.
We'd get coffee, then play around.
If it's not chess, then it's a truth or dare.
When the sun shone so bright.
You'd suggest opting for the pool.
I remember you pretending to have drowned this one time.
Jeez, you sure are something.
You laughed so hard.
Silly you, you said.

Here, came the time, so slow.
Pursuing our dreams, we've got goals.
And even on our different paths we never felt apart.
It was hard, jokes apart.
Been without favourite person, it wasn't so easy to cope.
But we tried, we played out parts.

I've got your face pinned.
Your humor still lives.
Your cuddles, one I miss.
And your shared thoughts still bleeds.
