As he sat there in front of his blank notebook he couldn't help but to glance over at the play. That supposedly had a terrible last page but he doesn't care of what that man said about the last page and how he had to rewrite it.
And so the light came through the glass stain of the window that came through the attic, and he sat there thinking as he thought it over a long time and finally caves in. And picks up the play re-reads his work with a serentatious thought and he tries to see what's wrong with the ending.
And then there came a knock on the front door and he closes and marks his place in the play script and he goes down the stairs and goes to see who is at the front door.
Mr. Maddy answers the door as there was another knock at the door. And he comes down the stairs with gripping onto the banister and answers the door and there was no one there. And he looks down at his feet and there in his sight was a dirty old black hat. That farmers or a priest use to wear, and he leans over and picks it up and takes it inside.
And goes back to work. And then few hours later he went outside as he was in his old farm working on few things to get it tightly and neat as he was doing that a truck drives on by. And it old man Ellis who just lives right up the road about few houses down. And so he finishes it up and he walks out the barn and he finishes it up. And so he goes inside and he goes back up stairs to his attic space, and he picks up the play again. Then reads it to see what the last page was like, and so when started to read it but couldnt keep his eyes open he was tired and so he decided to have a little fresh air would keep him awake. And then he was standing there and he heard a strange sound like an animal was being tortured. And so he goes out more. From his patio abd he tries to see what the sound eas , and so he looks at something that caught his eye. There laying in his grass was a big rump of a body and he got closer to it and it was a dog it was Mr. Ellis dog Max. That was brutually stabbed by a knife it seems like it was a kitchen knife.
And he fell to his knees. And thought that it was strange a dog that he knew since it was just a young pup. And somehow ends up dead in his yard and he tries to find the knife but couldn't and then he comes up with an idea and brings out a tarp and he carries to the body of the dead dog. Then he lifts the body of the dog onto the tarp and drags it to the barn, and he starts to dig a hole in one the old barn den where the cows slept and he got to the bottom.
