What happened?
I was given 8 gifts alongside 3 certificates with overall second position and 2 medals. It was indeed a joyful day for me. All were issued to my dad who went home happily with the gifts. We then returned with a great news that we had came 1st position in the quiz competition. Everyone were happy and we celebrated the good news. I returned joyfully to my friend who was waiting for me joyfully.
"Abidah, a lot of people are happy with you today even those who don't like you." Hikma said.
"I don't care, all I know is you being happy with me. How many did you get?"I asked.
"I got 4 gifts, a certificate, a medal and 3rd position overall. "
"Proud of you friend"
We then hugged and she gave me food to eat alongside a snack and a drink. We celebrated and enjoyed till we both left for home.
After three weeks, we resumed to school to start a wonderful beginning of senoir secondary school. It was a.wonderful beginning as we were shared into various departments: science, commercial and art. I was opportuned to be in the science class which was a part of my dream. At Ss1, I made friends with my classmates who became friendly both male and female and that is where problem started. Girls began to approach me saying I had snatched their boyfriends. It seemed funny and at the same time, it looked annoying. I had never engaged myself in love issues but here they are accusing me. This time, things changed, I learnt to speak for myself and defend myself. I couldn't let the same mistake which have been happening repeat itself because a misyake is never a mistake until when repeated. I gathered lot of courage and confidence. I found a voice for myself and a reason to express myself. I am also a human like others, why let them treat me the way they like besides it is not that they are better than me. In weeks I got lot of crushes, my male classmates began to crush on me and want to impress me. My Jss3 served as motivation for me and eversince I came 1st position. I ended my Ss1 with first position.
Things began to get ruined ....
