The Peasant Hunter

On the top of a lofty mountain,
Across an open field,
Stood a peasant Hunter,
Over his shoulder, his gun dangles,
Hearing the crackles of some peasants , Loudly from the tick jungles.
Low and high flew some peasants,

But, too small in size they are for the Hunter's greed,
Thus he roamed further towards the open field,
Strived he further to satisfy his urgent need.
The need for thicket-bound peasant
To turn away from such desire he dare not.

Old Hunter, how greedy thou art,
That thou troded thus late upon the earth,
Sang a little parrot bird,
Waving her little wings while she fled.
