Self love has become the most used words, among speakers (motivational lol), friends, couples, you name them. Self love shouldn't be misinterpreted. Having to love yourself or love yourself first has nothing to do with pride. I love myself and I wouldn't want to go against my principles, my spirit, soul and body. I love myself and I wouldn't choose to do things that will hurt me for life, just because I have to go all out for you.

Self love is, I would have love to but if I am, then I'll have to live with this pain forever(emphasis long term). You might want to ask what compromise is then. Compromise should be willing and not forceful, it should be what you can settle for without much struggle. If it takes a whole part of you and leaves you with nothing. Then I don't know what it is.

For one thing is sure.. Self Love isn't pride and Compromise shouldn't leave you hopeless.
