I know that the news of Poetizer going subscription-based has been a disappointment to many of us. It was a great platform for sharing our poetry and connecting with other poets. But I believe that this is not the end of our community.

Some of you may know me, and some won’t. I’ve been on that platform since 2021 under the same username . However I truly believe that we can still continue to write poetry and support each other, even if we're not on Poetizer anymore. We can create our own online community, or we can simply reach out to each other directly. Let's use this as an opportunity to rebuild our community from the ground up, in a way that is even more supportive and inclusive. Even if some of us went and subscribed, I believe it’s due to the memories on that app, but there won’t be the support as poets have left the app for good.

I’ve met new people here who have been nothing but welcoming.

I know that we can do this. We are a community of poets, and we are stronger together. Let's not let Poetizer's decision get us down. Let's use this as an opportunity to grow and thrive.

Together, we can create a new and even better community for poets. A community where everyone is welcome, no matter their experience level or style of poetry. A community where we can share our work, offer feedback, and learn from each other. A community where we can be inspired and motivated to keep writing.

I believe in us. I know that we can do this.
