The gentle breeze that blew made the leaves on the branches to sway back and forth. My teeth chattered from the cold as I zipped up my hood and secured comfort for my hands in my pocket.

The streets were almost deserted as it threatened to rain from the grey cloudy sky above. I quickened my pace and turned towards an alley; I was half-way down when the sound of a trash can lid clattering to the floor made me almost jump out of my skin.

I looked around and didn’t see anything unusual but I took to my heels. I could see the end of the alley as I raced towards it only to be intercepted by a gang of robbers which stopped me dead in my track, I began to breathe heavily as my heart began racing against my ribcage which had me terrified.

I tried to retreat but I was already surrounded by five hefty men who were already closing in, I was shaking like a leaf...
