When a mother cooks food, subconsciously she adds a special ingredient called love in it, which really is the mother of all masalas (no pun intended). She cooks with love and serves with devotion. The love she puts into what she is doing for you is what really makes you satisfied more than the food itself.
When people go to a temple and pray, the core of any prayer is love, whether they are praying for themselves or for their loved ones. Love inside all these prayers generates positive energy which is stored in the idol and transmitted back to you when you are standing in front of it. This transformation of love makes you feel at ease and protected.
When you work very hard on a project at school or work, the results make you feel elated because of the love that you had put into it earlier. In other words, it is your love towards self esteem, the love to achieve or prove something to yourself. The elation is due to the transformation of this love to joy. One may argue that you go to work not because you love it, but because you need the pay. Well, the pay is to take care of yourself or your loved ones. You would not go to work, if you did not care for, or love your family or yourself.
Love is the core of everything in this universe.
The lion hunts to feed its infants, the deer sacrifices her life to save her children. Each of this is an act of love.
