Riley and Mike decided to go to school together, Riley's bike had been fixed,so she was riding that morning.
"Ride a little faster"Mike said "it's not a competition"she reminded him,but Mike was famous for taking things as a competition.
At last they arrived at school,they parked their bikes,the weather was hot,she tied her sweater around her waist.
People still stared at her,making her extremely nervous,she checked her schedule,Geo,history then... drama club.
*School ran fast*
Charlene and Mike were given lunch room duty,so they would be busy. She did not have any other friend aside Mike,so she decided to sit alone,till Macey a girl from drama club sat down with her.
"Hi"she said
"Hi,am..."
"Riley Perkins,everyone knows about you"she said,making Riley nervous.
"Why would you say that?"she asked.
"You are the vice president of the drama club"
"I thought you meant that article on the school's blog"she said out.
"Everyone knows Charlene made a fake story for self publicity,and it was really funny"Macey said.
"Yeah,totally fake"Riley said,covering up her nervousness.
"so..I was hoping that you could let me join the whole crew,to write on the blog"Sure,but you'll have to submit your articles,for reviewing"Riley said.
"Thank you,thank goodness that is off my chest" Macey said.
Now here was someone more awkward than Riley.
Macey and Riley got along just fine,and it shocked that they were never friends.
What caught her eye,was the fact that Macey had a crush on Marc.
"I'll ask Mike if he can pitch in a good thing or two about you to Marc."Riley said.
"So,I'll send you the article"Macey said,but their conversation ended as Charlene walked up to them.
"So...you never got to fill us all in on why you love Raley so much you know!"Charlene said loud enough for people to hear.
"Don't answer her, she's probably just jealous"Macey Said.
"As if! It must be so awkward for poor Raley,I barely even saw him today,you must have probably scared the poor guy off with your weird and creepy thoughts"Charlene said.
"I kinda like them,they are pretty cute"a voice said,and everyone gasped.
Raley Steeler.
He walked up to her,"You...You..do?"she asked,"yeah,seeing as she IS my girlfriend"Raley said,and put his hands around her shoulder.
Riley smiled goofily,her cheeks flushed red.
"What!"Mike,Macey and Charlene asked.
"Yes, we've been hiding it,but we decided to come out in the open and confess"Raley said.
"He's a good actor"she said to herself,"when? How? Why?"Charlene asked.
"she's just too cute to resist"
She wondered if he was just acting or if he actually thought that about her.
"And...I don't want anyone bullying her about it,she wanted to keep the relationship a secret,but now everyone knows"Raley said.
Riley was about to faint,"I'd like to write an article about this,the school's power couple, infact I will!"Macey squealed excitedly.
"What!No! Us?"Riley asked nervous,what If her parents saw it?
Maybe this decision wasn't so good.
"It was just a thought"Macey said.
"Got anything else you want to know?"Macey asked Charlene, Charlene left in a fit of rage.
Riley looked up,he was so close to her,her heart beat increased,she was actually his girlfriend.
"I'll see you later Cutie"he said and kissed her cheeks.
While he was walking away,she stood there transfixed,and held her cheek,blushing in a dream like trance.
"Riley! Riley!"the voices of Macey and Mike were drowned out by Riley,as she stood there helplessly.
"He..He...kissed me"she said under her breath.
