Jorge and Serafina returned to the hotel after leaving the restaurant and they both were in a very good mood. Jorge removed her overnight bag from the backseat floor of the vehicle, and carried it up to his room. Because of all the excitement of the evening, they didn’t get to order dessert. Jorge asked Serafina if she wanted to order dessert from the late night menu and with a naughty smile she said, “Only if I can’t have you.” He turned around and almost pulled the phone off of the nightstand. Jorge didn’t know what to say, and that was something that didn’t happen often. He smiled shook his head and asked her again what she wanted; she pouted and told him whatever he was having. He quickly glanced at the menu and placed an order for a dozen Polvorones (Spanish shortbread), two small glasses of milk and two cups of coffee.
