Amina's sad story
AMINA’S SAD STORY
Amina was a student at secondary school, in grade four. She was living with her parents in mere poverty. At seventeen years old, the little girl became very attractive. Anybody in town would stumble in front of her.
Amina’s boyfriend, Soule was a student too. Every weekend, both lovers stayed together, learnt their lessons and went for a walk around the town, hand in hand. They were admired by the whole inhabitants of their area.
One day, a man with a large fortune set foot in the village. His name was Billy, the Boss. Hardly had he come than the girls started running after him.
Amina’s parents heard the news of Billy, the rich man. From that moment on, they began to object to their girl’s affair with Soule. They tried to convince their daughter to seduce Billy who could change their poor living conditions. The girl tried not to bow to her parents’ proposal for a time. But threatened to be sent out from their home, she had to submit herself to their will. So, Amina gained Billy’s attention and they quickly started going out. She let Soule down.
At the beginning of their relationship, things were running smoothly. Amina managed to change the miserable life of her parents but this wouldn’t last for long. A few months later, she fell seriously sick. Every day, she was coughing and vomiting. She had diarrhea and her body was burning with fever. She was becoming thinner and thinner.
Saddened by her condition, Amina’s parents took her to the hospital. After doing a diagnosis, the doctor revealed that the girl was suffering from AIDS. Her parents couldn’t believe their ears and cried the tears of their life.
The young girl was afterwards taken to a home of HIV-positives, where they are taken care of and given a treatment.
Her fiancé Billy left the town out of the scene.
A few months later, a survey revealed that the gentleman had transmitted HIV to more than twenty girls in the area. A poignant news for all the parents in the city.
