Just 4 letters
Longing for you,
Where have you been?
Where can I find you?
I desire you so much because you are so unique and priceless.
Where can I find you?
Who knows? Craving what is special,
Something my soul will envelop,
Something pure and decent,
The antidote to hatred.
The world's only antidote for peace and unity. Longing for it,
So I can give it to the whole world.
That is what the world needs.
I am generous, but what I have stirred is enmity.
If I offer, I am praised by those who receive,
And cursed by those who don't. The only thing that balances life's equation is you.
So where are you, that special thing that nailed Christ to the cross?
Come, I am longing for you, my four letters.
If I have you, I will hand you to my family,
And my family will offer you to their family,
And so shall the family of the universe have you. Your presence kills hatred, jealousy, and slander.
You alone are the antidote that the world needs to reach heaven.
It is your presence that draws God, not long sermons.
So with you, I am sure I know God.
Come into my heart, home, and family. Just four letters are all we need: L.O.V.E.
1 John 4:16
God is love.
