The Tales of King Ben: Arrival
The picture above is around when I first got Pup King Ben 57. I named him all those name the first day. Here is how that story goes:

When JB, my best friend since childhood, showed me his dog's two new pups (brothers), he asked for me to take one and him the other. I asked, "ok, but what are you naming yours?" He said, "Bear," I said, "well that's what I was thinking about mine. So, I might name him, 'Ben' after Grizzle Adam's bear's name.

However, as I was still thinking about his name, "King" my grandparent's pair of beagles (Rock and King) kept coming to mind, for some reason. And when I got him back near home (50 miles drive), to my brother's house, my brother (MB) said the same thing, that the puppy reminded him of our grandparent's dog named "King."

While, MB's whole family was outside, AM (MB's wife) asked about Ben's breed, and I wasn't for sure, and the conversation turned jokingly saying Heinze 57 mutt. But, of course, he is not, because the mother was only hooked up with JB's oldest dog.

I call Ben, Pup, because when I feed him or on other occasions, I call him Pup, instead of "boy." So, there is it, Pup King Ben 57. Howbeit, Ben is very hyperactive, and I will soon tell you of some of new adventures, and you watch him as he grows. Thanks, and God's blessings. © Brother Stephen Scottt
