Anne: Why are we here father? Where is Mom!?
Father: Not now Anne hush they'll hear us.
Anne: But father why have you brought us to this Cabin you told me to never come to this part od the land.
Father: I know what I've said..... but you must trust me and remain silent.
Anne: ( Father and i sat there silently in the creepy rundown cabin he asked me to never visit. Our home sits on this tiny corner of our 400 acre property, and when im not doing school work or chores i loved to travel all about the creeks and woods. But this paritcular corner of the woods is fenced off with atleast 10ft barbed wire fences and in the middle sits his work cabin. My thoughts are racing, where is my mother , why have we raced from our home like our lives depended on it. All these thoughts no answers.)
Father: I have to run back to the house there is something i must get from my laptop.
Anne: But what about mom Father?
Father: Your mother knows what to do we've talked about what do plenty of times. She will show up here i know it you stay out and quiet and wait for your mother and my return.
Anne: But What exactly is this? Why do you have a plan in place to meet here? Everything was fine last night Father we ate our meal watched our show! To wake before the sun moms missing you're frantic and the alarms in the home are going off. What am i to think!?
Father: Sweet heart it isnt fair and it isnt your fault. I do important work you know this. Secretive in the best interest for all involved including ourselves. I must go.
*Wooden door creaks open the wind howling and pushing against it, behind Father a slam
Anne: What in the actual hell am i to do now? ( I stared at the Door for a bit thinking to myself. Hes giving me no answers maybe there is something in here that will. The Cabin while run down is rather large in Square footage spacious to say the least. One by one i check the rooms nothing empty all 6 of them. Nothing in them but bare chipped paint wooden walls with dust and cobwebs all around.)
*A Thud is heard in the living area
*Anne with hesitation heads towards the living room.......

*She jumps and composes herself directly under was the only piece of decor in the entire cabin a purple rug

*She removes the rug to reveal a metal double door with a double bolt lock presumably leading to a basement
* Her hands quivering with fear she unlocks the Doors......

*Click.. Boom Bursts through a bloodied woman that jumps on anne
Anne: Oh my God Mom!!! What Happened?! Why were you down there!?
Mother: Anne quickly now close the doors and grab the duffle bag i left it down the stairs.
*Anne quickly Runs down the few stairs to retrieve the bag. At the very bottom lie a tunnel that went straight as far as the eye could see.
Mother: Quickly Anne come on lets go!
*Anne runs up the stairs but she can't help but overwhelemd by stench of decay coming from the tunnel
Anne: Im sick of this!! tell me what the hell is going on!?
Mother: Give me the bag close the doors and lock them.
Anne: Not until you tell me what is going on mom. First Dad now you all covered in blood whats happening??
Mother: Anne i told you time and time again that there would come a day when you would have to grow up really fast.. This is that day, where is your father?
Anne: I thought you meant college or mother hood mom not this shit! i dont know where father is he mentioned going back to the house for the computer.
Mother: That idiot!!! How could he leave the house without all of our work!
Anne: He was busy getting me out... The alarms were blaring all around the house he was frantic we couldnt find you so we jumped in the truck and rushed here.
Mother: Its only a 15 min drive to the house from here he should be back soon, the sooner he arrives the sooner we can leave.
Anne: Mom please tell me whats going on why are we leaving? what kind of science are you two doing?
Mother: We specialize in Genetics and have been tasked to make a machine similar to the crispr Cas9 a machine capable of auditing our genetic coding.

Anne: I thought this land was our families for generations?? And Raven Co acting as a shadow govt what does that even mean?! Where does that tunnel lead?
Mother: The House anne it leads to the house.
Anne: Our Home has a basement as well?!
Mother: Yes underneath our laboratory lies the Experiment room. Thats what set off the alarms in the home our Raven Cas9 had unforeseen consequences to the Genetic regeneration of decaying cells. We had it built to escape here but i fear they followed me which is why we dont have much time and i can't believe your father isnt here.
*Bang! Bang! Bang! repetitive banging on the basement doors
*Anne yells and points her gun towards the doors Mother simply stares

Mother: Only God knows lets go run we must make it to the bridge your father will know to meet us there.
Anne: How will he know that we cant let him walk into the cabin with what ever that was to greet him.
*Mother opens her bag and pulls out a molotov and lights it, throwing it through a window of the cabin

*The two take off jogging into the dark woods towards the bridge
Anne: (Im so tired my life has been turned upside down in a matter of moments. I used to love this land but finding myself running for my life in the woods i catch myself wishing it wasnt as secluded as it is. The Swiss alps are beautiful and for the longest i found us so fortunate that have land snuggled in this glove right between the mountains. North South and West eventually hit a mountain like barrier the only way in or our of the 400 acre property is East. The Bridge is a metal like walk only bridge on the other side lie multiple vehicles in wait to be used to get to town.)
Mother: Anne get down and stay quiet!
* Anne and Mother scurry to the floor and hide behind a fallen down log
Anne: ( its so dark i dont even know how she sees)
*the whistles through the trees and faint footsteps can be heard. Slowly and suddenly rapidly sprinting the noise is coming right towards them

* Pop!! A body can be heard hitting the ground
Anne: Mom what did you shoot!
Mother: Lets go Anne if theyre out here already it wont be long until the rest swarm heaf from the noise!
*The woman in a full on sprint head east and the destination is just ahead
Mother: Oh no... no . no. no .Nooooo that asshole!!!!! Nooooooo!!!
Anne: (i stare in dismay as the bridge has all but collapsed and on the other side in the far distance you can see red tail lights....)
*Anne sits in the dark silence with her mother hearing her sob...
Anne: Can you please tell me now what is going on... why would Father leave us?

We have specific orders to dessert and shut this place down if things went south with our work. No one will come for some time until they deem it safe to cleanse... Im sorry Anne i was selfish i loved him knowing i shouldn't and couldn't and yet i still laid with him and kept you even though i had gotten rid of so many others. *Snarls and footsteps can be heard sprinting in our direction from the woods. Multiple footsteps and voices
Anne: Mother Im Scared!!!!

*The Sprinting stops faint growling and whistling of the wind fill the Darkness
