Poetry has been an amazing tool for people like us for ages. It has been an art that has allowed us to be our most vulnerable selves, sharing our deepest emotions of pain, joy, and all kinds of love. I believe the bravest thing a poet can do is write about their life and share it with the world. However, we also hide behind our lines, our metaphors, our hidden messages, and the anonymity of our cryptic stories. Then, over time, my writing has reached a point where even I forget the meaning behind my lines. But I don't want to forget. So I am starting this series for a rather selfish intent of remembering my stories and the lessons they have taught me.
