"If you think about it, I'm not that bad," he rasps. "I'd enslave you and still let you be free," he continues, as though his words make sense.
Suddenly, everywhere goes silent. You're too curious to resist peeking over the crate you're curled up behind so, you attempt to steal a glance.
Your eyes widen in shock as an electric tingle travels from your nape to your head and spreads throughout your body. You feel consciousness slowly leave you and you collapse unto the cold, hard floor.
