HE'S MINDFUL OF ME.
Few weeks back, I spoke to someone and I ended up telling the person about my life before I met Christ, I was quite disappointed at myself because I knew everything I did was nothing to be proud of and so while telling the person about it I began to feel bad because I felt like I already cheated God, the conversation ended and I wasn't okay at all, I became really sad and I felt like I wasn't worthy to go into God's presence.
later that night, I was so down that I could literally hear the devil speak, he said " you think you escaped, so you think God would accept you, you're dirty, even if God says he cares, you'll never believe" the Holy Spirit spoke to me as well but I chose not to answer "what is man that you're mindful of him" was what he kept telling me.
I woke up the next morning and I spoke God, I told him how I felt and I continued with the rest of my activities, later that day I texted a really close friend and she could sense that something was up with me, I told her Everything and I caught myself saying" who am I that God is mindful of" then she told me that my past doesn't define me and so long as God has accepted then I'm a new creature-I love my friend.
I went to my Bible and opened to the book of Psalms.
Psalm 8:4-what is man that you are mindful of him and the son of man that you care for him".
Man in that verse is deep
Man- the fallen being, the being that could decide to go back to it's vomit, the dirty being, the greedy being but guess what he's mindful of us.
He was mindful of Zaccheus the tax collector-he was greedy, he was mindful of the woman with the issue of blood-she was dirty, he was mindful of David-he went back to his vomit, he was mindful of Samson-he fell, God was mindful of each and every one of them not to talk of me.
He's very mindful of me.
who am I that you're mindful of me
what is man that you're mindful of him
I'm but dust but you're mindful of me
I'm amazed by this wonderful loving
Dawns on me that you love me it's glaring
but who am I that you're mindful of me.
Regardless of who you think you are God has better thought of you and it's high to time to begin to see yourself the way God sees you.
ABBA, we thank you for being mindful of us and caring for us and we ask that you help us not to take it for granted and we also ask the you help us understand that you see us in a better way.
Amen
