"Love, let's get married after we graduate?" I asked him shamelessly.
I love him. And it will always be.
" I'm the one who's supposed to ask you that. Tss." He seemed annoyed that I took that chance of him.

He refused to talk to me and started to feel upset about it.
I was about to stand up when he sneaked his arms on my waist.

That day was our perfect day but Ares died years ago because of heart disease. God knows how I still want to hold and fight for him but he was already weak and tired. So I let go half-heartedly. He already suffered enough.

"I can't marry you, Eunice. My heart is so weak. And doesn't have time left to be with you. I know this may sound selfish to you but please let go of me. Let go of your love because I want you to marry another man. A man who can take care of you. A man who can spend the rest of his life with you."
I don't like his idea but I understand he is doing this for my sake. I tried to let go several times but I always failed.
