Rabindra Tagore was a great poet, philosopher, painter, and patriol. He was born on 7th May 1861 at Jora Sanko in Kolkata.

Rabindra Jayanti is a day which marks the birth anniversary of Tagore's birthday anniversary of the great scholer and poet. Rabindra nath Tagore's birthday is Celebrated on 25th day of baisakh. It is popularly called Poncheeshe Baisakh and it is celebrated all across West Bengal Cultural shows,songs, poetry and recitation are done in buery school in memory of him this Cultural shows goes on Every where from morning to evening. Everywhere the atmosphere seems to be full of warmth and happiness .
