Tainted (a Fanfiction story based on Game of Thrones Series) 03
Since I'm a fan of #GOTseries, and deeply inlove with Jon Snow, I've made a fanfiction story out of the original existing characters. Hope you all like it. Happy reading, everyone📖😘
Please note that I do not own most of the characters and scenes in this story.
I made up just quite a few of them. Hahahaha. I know you'll be mislead by this story but please bear with me. It's just a fanfiction, alright😂😂😂😁✌️

Chapter Three: Jon Snow

His father Ned Stark, the king's hand, was killed by a wounded boar during a hunting session with King Robert Barratheon at the deepest part of the forest far of north.
Everyone said, his father had tried to protect the drunk king when he was attacked by the wounded beast. The king was safe but his father didn't make it.
After that, he had voluntarily joined the  Night's Watch with the help of his Uncle Benjen Stark who had visited his father's grave at the crypt in Winterfell. He went along with him to the North of the wall and swore an oath to be part of the night's watch. There, he met Samwell Tarly, the  kitchen steward and a aspiring Maester, and one of the night's watch brother, Eddison Tollett. Things weren't became easy for him when Sir Alliser Thorne and his men carried the news that his Uncle Benjen was killed by the wildlings during their patrol beyond the wall. Said, the old lad tried to make treaty with the wildlings. But he's not convinced of such shallow reason. Therefore, he had planned to solely investigate his Uncle's death and volunteered himself to join Eddison's patrol beyond the wall. Sam went along with him, too.
While on their way to Craster's Shack, they were ambushed by numerous wildlings. Multiple of the night's watch brothers were killed and few of them had became hostages. They were brought to the wildlings camp to face a trial. There, he met Mance Rayder. The former night's watch brother who turned his side when he knew he was actually born a wildling and is proud that he has wildling blood in his veins, but as an infant he was left at one of the castles on the Wall to be raised in the Night's Watch. Mance Rayder was bestowed with a title as the King beyond the wall by the wildlings/freefolks. He united the nine clans who were dying to slaughter each other if not for Mance's rules. He imposed unity and peace to all the tribes/clans under his command.
When Mance Rayder knew of his name, he had acknowledged him as the nephew of Benjen Stark. Since his uncle Benjen and Mance Rayder were former friends he ordered his men to give Jon Snow including Eddison and Samwell their freedom. But they were still being watched in their every move inside the camp.
While they roamed around the camp, a red-haired girl wildling had caught his attention. He was mesmerized by her beauty.
"Bet yah, a girl wildling had just caught your eyes huh, Jon Snow?"
It was Tormund Giantsbane. One of Mance Rayder's key leaders and his famous freefolk raider.
"Aye." It was a shame, he was caught staring at her.
" Ygrette. She's one of ours. She's one of Mance's greatest army. Fierce girl and a great warrior, but very tender right at this spot."
Tormund pointed at his chest.
He was fascinated by her based on Tormund's words about her.
"You liked her, huh?"
Tormund looked at me straight in the eyes and he never blinked.
"Aye. She's quite a beauty but it doesn't matter to me now. I had sworn an oath to the night's watch that I shall take no wife and father no children."

Tormund shook his head as a sign of disagreement of Jon's answer.
"Damned oath, crow."
He mumbled, leaving Jon behind.

As it was hard to travel back to North of the wall due to the snow storms, the three of them were stranded at the wildlings camp for three moons.
They mingled with the different tribes of wildlings who gathered around in circles. Though, it was a bit hard for the three of them because the nine clans spoke of different languages.
Upon turning on his left side, he saw the lady wildling, Ygrette. She was talking to a young man wildling when she caught him staring at her. But with such great luck from the seven realms, Ygrette shyly smiled at him.
And that was the beginning of their love towards each other. Though, Jon was well-aware of the consequence he might face when he broke the oath, he continued to pursue his love to Ygrette.
All of the wildlings knew of their affection towards each other. And when Styr, the magnar of the Thenns tribe and a lieutenant of Mance Rayder heard of this, he attempted to murder Jon Snow and claimed Ygrette as his woman. But the lady wildling had refused Styr and so the war of the tribes began. As chaos wrapped around the wildlings camp, Mance Rayder had ordered Jon Snow, Ygrette and his two night's watch brothers to flee and to take along few of the survivor wildlings with them.
Jon was questioned about the presence of few wildlings in North of the wall, when they  had arrived at Castle black.Lord commander Mormont had ordered to lock the wildlings temporarily in the dungeon for the castle black's protection against a possible attack from the freefolks while they've still investigated Jon Snow of the matter.
When Jon was faced in trial, Sir Alliser Thorne and those who favoured with him had strongly casted their votes for Jon to be executed for he took the wildlings in which it was against the rules at castle black and in the North of the wall.
But Maester Aemon and the Lord commander were to decide Jon's verdict.
So as agreed, Jon had to serve as steward in the kitchen of Castle black as his punishment. Prohibited of carrying any weapons, and meet with any of the wildlings..It broke his heart so much when he could do nothing to see his Ygrette. And for the wildlings, they were given two options, weither they shall go back to beyond North of the wall or stay at the new settlement at the far side of the North. All of them stayed including Ygrette for they have feared the Thenns tribe had won against Mance Rayder's army. Too early for her to realize she had been with Jon's child and it was Maester Aemon who told her of it. But before she could tell Jon that she's with child, the night's watch brothers had sent them to the new settlement at far side of the North. She had been warned to keep her condition a secret in order for Jon to be safe from execution. Perhaps, she could personally tell him about the child after she gave birth. She could wait and so was their child and... Jon.

Meanwhile at Castle black, there's a news from the raven. It was from the House Bolton. Said, wildlings had raided their lands, and the Boltons Army had killed them all. Not even child wildlings were spared..

To be continued.... 😉
