THE BOOMERANG!
THE BOOMERANG (1)
:::Reward for evil;
Okpo is sacrificed:::

Ozin is a mentally drained young man who lives around Oron. Story says he wasn't born with his present condition. He became insane when a friend tricked him into sniffing crack cocaine. Though mentally unstable, Ozin is very peaceful, hence his endearment to people.

In order to feed, Ozin either picks from the gutters or begs for alms especially during his period of lucidity. A certain rich man is fond of helping him whenever the nutcase pays him a visit. The rich man's name is Mr Okwong. Mr Okwong is a business man who deals in aqua products. He used to travel to countries like Cameroon, Togo, España, Gabon etc for trading. He is married to a woman named Edak...Edak is a real vixen. Mr Okwong has four children; two boys and two girls. His first son, Metuei, he had before getting married to his wife. The three other children, Okpo, Oruk, and Uliañ are from Edak's womb.

These children, like their father, are very friendly and hospitable, safe one of them; Okpo (The first son from Edak's womb). Okpo is very rude to everyone, including strangers and her father's friends. Edak has always wanted her son to succeed the father... Several times, she has tried compelling Mr Okwong to will all his inheritance to Okpo her son, leaving Metuei empty handed.

Mr Okwong is rich but very down-to-earth. He is so blind to discrimination that he can eat, talk, and associate with anyone without considering their status. One day, Mr Okwong is relaxing at his balcony and suddenly, he hears a knock on his gate... It is Ozin, the famous nutcase. He has come to ask for alms as usual. This time, Mr Okwong has made an appeal to his wife Edak to get his visitor something nice to eat.

Within her, she tells herself, "this is an opportunity for me to end this nonsence". She cannot stand the sight of Ozin coming to her house almost on a daily basis. For her, the young man is disgusting and should rot in a dungeon.

She pulls out a plate of fried rice from the microwave oven and sprinkles a little powder-like substance. She leaves the foods well covered and steps upstairs to get a bottle of water... something take her time a little but she returns to witness the shock of her life...a plate of fried rice she left at the dining table some few minutes ago is suddenly empty.

Flash!

While she was up, her rude son, Okpo got to know that Ozin was around, so he said to himself "he is here again; I can never allow this food to get to him... nonsense!".

Long story short, after trying to figure out how the food disappeared from the plate, Okpo is found in his room, foaming and gasping for breath... He gave up the ghost at the entrance of the hospital. Edak is now left in her mystery, rueing her act of wickedness, while praying for forgiveness.

"Get your things ready, and start preparing to sign the divorce papers tomorrow...you must leave this house" says Mr Okwong... The rest is story for another day.

Ozin is safe, Metuei gets his due, Edak loses her son and her marriage, all because of evil thoughts. Her evil plans boomeranged... DO YOU NOW BELIEVE THAT KARMA IS REAL?
