Shaheen was in hospital waiting for her turn. She was sitting in a chair day dreaming about what she’ll do when this lockdown gets over. Suddenly an auto rikshaw driver entered with a girl in his arms. She looked 6 or 7 years old. Shaheen looked at her and found the girl was bleeding badly. She had broken her forehead. Hospital staff hurried to lay her on a stretcher and rushed her to an emergency room. Everyone in the hospital was panicked except the staff. The staff acted like stuffs like this were normal to them. Probably they were used to it; used to the blood, the trauma and the emergency. The hospital filled with silence again as quickly as it had filled with panick few minutes ago when the the driver had arrived.

Shaheen’s brain started making possibilities about what might have happened to the girl.
