Five Famous Fairytales with Incredible Twists
The story begins with Cinderella being mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters. She is forced to stay home while the stepsisters go to the ball. Suddenly the fairy grandmother appears in front of Cinderella and grants her wish to go to the ball. The fairy casts a spell on the prince to make him fall in love with Cinderella. Before parting ways, the fairy warns her that she should be back before the clock strikes twelve.
Keeping the fairy godmother’s advice in mind, Cinderella goes to the ball. The prince falls in love with her at first sight. They dance the night away. Cinderella loses track of time when she is with the prince.
Suddenly the clock strikes twelve. Cinderella is reminded of the warning the fairy godmother gave her. She runs down the stairs and out of the royal palace, leaving behind one of her glass slippers in the process.
Later the prince attempts to track down the woman who left her glass slipper, and he eventually finds Cinderella. The two wed and Cinderella soon conceives twins – Hansel and Gretel.
Cinderella forgets to invite the fairy godmother to the twins’ christening ceremony. The fairy gets furious and puts the prince out of his trance. The prince is disgusted when he sees Cinderella after the spell has worn off.
Prince Charming starts falling for Cinderella’s young and beautiful maid. He has Cinderella executed and the prince and the maid get married.
The maid is a despicable woman who despises Hansel and Gretel. One day, she takes them to the woods and abandons them there. Fortunately, Hansel had left behind a trail of leaves on his way to the woods. The twins easily find their way to the royal palace. Hansel and Gretel would make it safely to the royal palace just to be ill-treated by their evil stepmother all over again, so Hansel decides that it’s better if they just run away.
The twins dash through the woods. They find the candy house. When they enter the house, they witness a wicked witch stirring a severed human leg in a black cauldron and cackling. They slowly leave the house without making any noise.
Later when they’re aimlessly wandering through the woods, they come across a young boy about the same age as them. His name is Jack. He understands their plight so he offers them a few seeds. He advises the twins to plant them so they will grow into a beanstalk. Jack says that the beanstalk leads to a giant’s house high up in the skies. Before Jack can warn the twins about the validity of the beanstalk (the beanstalk will wither away after four days), they run away with the seeds.
Hansel and Gretel plant the seeds and they grow into a gigantic beanstalk. They climb up the tree and loot all the clothes, food, and other valuables from the giant’s house. Life is good to the twins and Jack for a few days, but then hunger knocks on their door again.
When Hansel, Jack, and Gretel are roaming through the woods, they stumble upon an ancient palace covered in green moss and ivy creepers. The palace is haunted since no one has inhabited the palace in about 100 years.
When Hansel, Gretel, and Jack enter the palace, they spot a beautiful young princess lying on a bed. Her face is pale and she seems to be in a state of peaceful slumber.
When Hansel had asked the wizard about the palace earlier, the wizard responded that a beautiful young princess was sleeping in a chamber. He said that the princess can only be woken up by a true love’s kiss.
Hansel’s heart begins pounding out of his chest when he first lays eyes on the pretty princess. He cautiously goes over to the bed, bends down, and kisses the princess on the lips.
When the princess wakes up from her century-long slumber, the first person she sees is Hansel. She eyes the handsome young man standing in front of her and falls head over heels in love with him. He takes her hands in his and gently kisses them.
Jack and Gretel quietly leave the chamber and go out of the palace to give Hansel and the princess some privacy. Jack starts catching feelings for Hansel’s twin sister. Gretel doesn’t realise that Jack fancies her.
A few days later, Hansel weds the princess and they move into the palace. The princess begs her husband to cut ties with his sister and shower her alone with love and affection. Hansel consents to his dear wife’s request and lets go of his sister.
Jack and Gretel are all on their own. As the days go by, Gretel takes a strong liking to Jack.
As Jack and Gretel start falling in love with each other, Hansel and the princes start falling out of love.
Hansel constantly quarrels with his wife. He is extremely unhappy with his married life and he wishes he never met the princess.
The princess is a vile and vain woman who only cares about her beauty.
One day, when the princess asks the mirror on her wall who is the fairest of them all, the mirror replies that a young woman named Snow White is the fairest of them all.
Hansel’s wife turns green with envy. She dresses up as an old woman and takes a poisoned apple pie over to Snow White’s house.
Snow White is all alone in the small cottage. The seven dwarves have gone deep into the woods to earn their livelihood.
The old woman offers Snow White the scrumptious piping hot apple pie. Snow White takes a bite of the pie and falls to the floor. The old woman laughs loudly and flees from the cottage.
When the dwarves return to the cottage, they see Snow White lying on the floor. When they don’t hear her heartbeat or feel her pulse which shows no signs of life, they declare that she’s dead.
The dwarves quickly arrange a funeral service for Snow White. They place her lifeless body in a casket outside the cottage.
When the dwarves are grieving the loss of their beloved Snow White, Jack and Gretel see them from afar and join them. Jack and Gretel hold hands as they gaze into Snow White’s stone-cold eyes. They marvel at her beauty as they grieve for her.
Meanwhile, Hansel is pacing about restlessly in his study after one of his fights with his wife. He suddenly thinks of his twin sister and longs to see her.
Without telling his wife, he leaves the palace and heads for the woods. When he sees a small gathering outside the cottage, he goes there.
Little does he know that he will not only be meeting his beloved sister there but also the love of his life.
When Hansel sees Snow White lying in the open casket, he gets butterflies in his stomach. Never has he seen a more beautiful woman than Snow White.
He bends down on one knee in front of the open casket and presses his lips against hers. Snow White blinks her eyes rapidly and wakes up from the casket, coughing violently. The apple dislodges from her throat and she is alive and well again.
Snow White falls madly in love with the man who brought her to life. The twins bond and the four of them have a good time. The prince realises he’s better off without the princess and leaves her for Snow White.
A few months later, a double wedding takes place. Hansel and Snow White and Jack and Gretel wed at the same time.
Hansel’s first wife is invited to the wedding. She is asked to dance to death in red hot shoes. Her feet melt like popsicles as she screams in agony and dances for the couples with a smile plastered on her face.
In the end, the evil princess dies, and the newly-wed couples raise their wine glasses and say “Cheers!”
