Do You Love God?
#DoYouReallyLoveGod

#Jesus #Christian #God'sWord

So once again, who do you love? Is your whole heart and soul and mind and strength set upon the Lord Jesus Christ or do you still desire to please the eyes and the flesh and your pride?

Do you find delight and joy in the Lord and the things of the Lord only? Or do you still delight in the world and the entertainments thereof?

Are you as exuberant for the Lord and the things of the Lord as you are for the world and the things of the world?

Do you serve Him and claim a relationship to Him only because you love Him or is it that you fear going to hell or only desire what you can gain from Him?

Would you serve Him even if there was nothing to gain from doing so? Even if He were to reject you and send you to hell at the end of your service?

This is a strong statement but if you truly love Him with all your heart, then you would be willing to serve Him even if you were to gain nothing from Him in the end.

If we don't love Him like this, then we don't love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.

If we still love the world and the things of the world, if our heart still desires the things of the world and our hearts are not wholly set on Jesus Christ, then there is one thing needful.

We must be born again.

Do you love yoir brothers and sisters? What about friends and acquaintances?
What about strangers?
What about your enemies?

If your answer to any of these is no, then there is one thing needful.

You must be born again.

The Love of God is a supernatural love that enables you to love God and to love all men, even them thatnwould kill you if they could.

Does this seem absurd?

Didn't Jesus do this very thing whennHe was on the cross engulfes by sorrow at being betrayed, grief at being rejected and pain by His crucifixion?

If we say we have the Love of God within us, is it not the same Love that abided in Jesus?

Should we not then love like Jesus loved?

If we do not, there is one thing neddful.

We must be born again.

Let him who would love God start by learning to love one another.

Let him that would learn to love one another start by learning to love and obey God's Words.

Let him who would seek to love and obey God's Words seek Him who is able to give us a new heart within which He can pour in His Love.

Let him that would be born again seek God and receive Gods Word.

1 Peter 1:21-23
[21]Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
[22]Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
[23]Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Take heed to every Word of God that has been spoken within this book.
For EVERY WORD is important for us to inherit Eternal Life.

Matthew 4:4
[4]But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

And you will have to stand and give an account before.God for what you habe done with these Words you have read.

Romans 3:4
[4]God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Thank you for reading.
