April 5th Dream
This dream started as I stood at the bottom of a tall brown brick skyscraper with steel cables that led to the top and sloped outward toward the ground, creating a steep graded slant all around the square perimeter.
Tractor trailers were lined up at the base.
A loud electronic sounding buzzer went off and yellow fog lights lit up spinning on top of the trucks.
The doors to the trailers opened and children started jumping out followed by what looked like private contract militia members, dressed in all black with black beanies and tactical gear, holding assault rifles.
The children ran toward where the steel cables met the ground and started climbing, filing up the wires.
They started falling and hitting the slope of the building before sliding and rolling down, dead, breaking pieces of brick from the building on their way down.
I was a distance away, so although I already started running toward the building upon the trucks opening, it took me awhile to near the trucks and building.
As I approached the trucks I was sickened at what I witnessed in the trailers.
Cages, chains and shackles, men in suits abusing children who did not climb.
I then, one by one, went into the trucks and ripped the jaws from the grey haired faces of the men in suits.
As I finished, I looked up as I heard loud snaps of the steel cables snapping, the children on the wires screaming as they came down.
It was heart breaking, because it looked just like the videos of people falling from the twin towers but it was children.
The men started firing at those their bullets could reach and at that point I ran to the nearest cable and climbed quickly, the children I reached, I put on my back, children on neighboring cables trying to reach out with their short arms, but the distance was probably 15 yard between cables.
I held on with one arm to the cable I was on, and my other I put on my shoulder as a safety precaution for the children to hold onto on my back.
With my weight, I swung the cable back and forth to reach a hand, but couldn't.
I thought to swing to the neighboring cable, so I rocked back and forth until I believed I gained enough momentum to swing.
I gained swing and let go.
I remember the brush of the clammy palm of the child brush past mine as I fell too short, falling to my death with 3 children on my back.
