As months passed since Shreya's Facebook update, Arjun started accepting the fact that he and Shreya can never be together.

In an effort to expedite the process of moving on, he starts hitting the gym, transforms into the best version of himself. He also starts flirting with anyone who found him interesting. He had one strict rule for himself that he would never make any promises again. Luckily for him, thanks to his good looks and a charming personality, women showed interest in him. He goes out with a handful of women in a span of 3 months, few gave him what he wanted, always used to be a kiss or anything till second base, the remaining called him names. Only sad part was, he used to think of Shreya even while kissing other women. He hated that about himself, but didn't know how to stop it.

The evening before February 14th...

Arjun, lying on his bunk bed, checks out his whatsapp stories, he stumbles upon Tanya's latest whatsapp story in which she uploads a picture of her. Arjun knows Tanya as a Facebook friend for almost an year, they even had deep conversations on relationships as they both were going through a breakup at the same time. He just never knew how Tanya looks, as she never uploaded a picture on any social media page till that day.

Arjun replies to the status, 'So, this is how Tanya looks. Why didn't you tell me ever?'

Tanya: 'Hey soup boy! How's your rebound game going?'

'haha..What would you have done had you known?

Tanya and Arjun knew almost everything about eachother. Since they both were moving on from their respective breakups, they almost had no boundaries in sharing their flaws, vulnerabilities, and screwups.

Arjun: 'Going okay, getting over a breakup is indeed tougher than I thought. How about your rebound game? Did you lose your virginity yet? You said you wanted to do that to get back at your ex.

'Idk, I think you removed the probable sexual tension by not showing me how you look'

Tanya: 'Naa.. didn't find any one interesting enough to let myself go, most guys are duds, and can't even flirt properly'

'Don't you think that's a very narrow and unidirectional view of sexual tension?'

Arjun: 'Why don't you give me a chance?'

Tanya: 'And why should I?

Arjun: 'Don't you wanna let yourself go?'

Tanya: 'Hold your horses soup boy, you definitely think a lot about yourself'

Arjun: 'Sorry, I think I stretched it farther than I should have'

'Okay, how about a date atleast?'

Tanya: 'You do realize that it's Valentines day tomorrow, right?'

Arjun: 'I do. Will you be my valentine for tomorrow Tanya?'

Tanya: 'You must be kidding, you know that I don't want any emotions coming in the way, and that's exactly what we discussed when we were talking about our respective breakups'

Arjun: 'Who said anything about emotions? We both know what we don't want, so no strings attached'.

Tanya: 'Soup boy, you really think too much of yourself. I'm like a drug, once you taste me, you can't leave me'.

Arjun: 'I'll take that as a yes. 7 PM, at Hard Rock Cafe tomorrow'.

14th Feb, Arjun and Tanya in the Hardrock Cafe...

Arjun, bursting into laughter after hearing Tanya, 'Hold on, hold on, let me order 2 more vodka shots'

Tanya: 'Are you crazy? we already had 6 shots each, I'm done. I don't want to black out'

Arjun, in a very drunk tone,' But, we just got started'.

Tanya: 'Look at you, you're already sloshed. I don't want anymore, let's just finish the food and push off'.

Arjun: 'Fine, let's finish this food and leave'

Arjun holding Tanya's hands, and letting her rest on his shoulder, gets off the cab they took to Tanya's place. She lives in a shared 2bhk.

Arjun: 'Let me take you upstairs, and hand you over to your flatmate'

Tanya: 'Don't bother, she's not home, she went to Hyderabad to meet her boyfriend. Here's the keys, do me a favour and just get me inside the house'

Arjun realises the opportunity, and tells himself to think of some reason to spend the night with Tanya. As he thinks, he reaches the door, and Tanya doesn't look drunk anymore, she could walk all by herself without any support.

As he's about to leave, he looks at the watch, and goes, 'Shit, it's 12.30 AM in the night, the warden will definitely not let me in'.

Tanya: *bursts into laughter* 'Such an old trick, do you think I'll fall for it and ask you to come in and sleep here'.

Tanya, holding her laughter, says, 'Okay, tell me what can we do together if I let you in, and if that's interesting enough, I'll consider letting you in'

Arjun, stunned by Tanya's response, realises she is no regular woman, and she can easily see through him. He decides to play it straight.

Arjun: 'Well, we can watch a movie together and I'm a very good company, I'm told '

Tanya: 'I don't feel like watching a movie, moreover I like them watching alone'

Arjun: 'How about a dance together?'

Tanya: 'Lol..why can't you come to the point?'

Arjun: 'I'm actually telling you what I want'

Tanya: 'No, you're only telling me what you want me to believe'

Tanya pulls Arjun closer and says, 'Man up, and ask me what you actually want Soupboy?' *winking her eye*

Arjun smiles, and goes, 'Miss Tanya, my drug, let me taste you!'

Tanya pulls Arjun inside the house and locks the door behind her. She takes him to her bedroom, makes him sit on the bed, and starts kissing his lips passionately as she unbottons his shirt. Arjun quickly responds, he kisses her back even more intensely, picks her up, and pins her to the bed. He lifts her upper body, and removes her top, as he passionately fondles and kisses her breasts.

In no time, they were in their inners, and they can't seem to stop exploring each others' bodies.

As Arjun proceeds to remove Tanya's pants. She stops him, and asks, 'No strings attached, right?

Arjun: 'Yes, no strings attached'
