In Six Moon (Chapter 02)
"You have an uncompleted mission on Earth. You shall pay for your sins while on Earth... Until then would we decide how it ends. You no longer have control of how your life runs."

The voice was so audible that it sent shivers down her spine. She didn't know whether she was alive or dead.

The loud timing of the machine woke her up from whatever dream or nightmare she had seen. Slowly blinking her eyes which felt a bit painful  and covered with faint tears like sunlight was being flashed on her eyes.  Her eyes scanned around where she was... hospital?

As she managed to get up, a sharp pain raced through her head causing her to curse internally though she managed to sit upright.

Questions started to race through her mind as she recalled what had vividly brought her to this state.

"I'm supposed to be dead? Alongside that man,"She paused trying to find answers when she recalled that dream or vision which was so real. "Playing for my sins? An uncompleted mission? On Earth?"
None of this words made sense to her the more she tried to find meaning to it. Her thoughts were disturbed by the opening of the door.

"You're awake!!" A high-pitched voice ran out with excitement.

"Thank God.. you are alive" Her PA and close friend came up to her with relief evident in his tone.

"What happened?"

With that, she noticed his expression which was filled with relief and happiness turned sullen and sad. He sat on the chair next to her heaving a deep sigh.

"You should be grateful you survived," He paused looking at her. "Your father didn't."

Why wasn't she happy and satisfied after hearing this news. This was what she wanted all along...His death. She had witnessed it. Everything. His disgusting last moments... You lunatic!!  His spiteful words rang into her head following a deep sigh.

"How did they find us?"

"Your body was found floating on the sea but unconscious. I was contacted and we found your father's corpse. How did it happen...It was all over the news for like Six months -"

My eyes widened as he uttered ' six months' interrupting him.

"How long have I been here?"

"To be precise...Six months and some days. Doctors thought you would never wake up again." Lucas added.

Six months! Alot would really have happen within six months.

"Where was he buried?" A sudden sense of confidence and dissatisfaction engulfed me.

"Olds Brick...Ava."

"Lucas," Ava slowly walked to the huge window. "How pathetic. He doesn't even deserve it."

"Are you okay?"

That question which she always avoided. Which she always swayed away.

"I will be. With time."
