A knock.

A steady knock that woke Rey from her terrorising thoughts that would make at least some people flinch in fear and shock.

Lowering her eyelids a little, Rey felt her eyes adjust to the dark quite quickly - before she knew it, she was wide awake.

Wide awake, hungry and thirsty. She hadn't eaten or drunk in days - maybe weeks, she didn't know.

She didn't care. He was gone, and she now knew her life was not worth living. It was hopeless, everlasting sadness would creep through her veins and drown her until she was very much dead.

Looking down at her body, Rey wasn't that shocked when she saw her ribcage poking out of her pale skin, she wasn't surprised to see how shaky her knees were becoming.

Her eyes also narrowed, almost mockingly as she stood her ground. Not moving an inch.

"No. You're a nuisance. Now leave me alone." Rey replied, turning away from him to walk into her house - using her connection with the force to shut the door.

If only Finn-fucking-Storm hadn't stepped in right at the minute she had turned her back, then maybe she, Rey would have gone to sleep perfectly that night.

Of course, life wasn't perfect. In her case, it was the exact opposite, the exact opposite indeed.

"Why didn't you answer my letters? My calls? Anything?!" Rey whispered in her ear, his harsh breath hitting her ear.

Surprisingly, she smirked a...
