Intro
Once upon a time, there was once a race of warriors who were feared and adored through the kingdom of Meticulous, but one day they all seemed to disappear, There equal a rare race of scholars and strategists, they disappeared also. But the one thing that the people wanted to disappear didn’t it stayed and spread its darkness even further into the kingdom. Now that the only people who could even stand a chance against it were gone.
Chapter one
Croydon, now the worst part of London, is where Onyx High resides, the school where the misfits and crazy teens go.
Once upon a time, a girl called lily Blair enrolled in this school, once upon a time, a boy called Christopher enrolled in this school. A story of how they disappeared a story of how they reappeared but not here.
Hi, my name is Lily Blair I am adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Hunter. My parents are said to be dead. The only thing I have of them is my opal necklace, my most prized possession. I really can’t stand my adoptive family. I love them and all I mean they’re the only family I have but they’re catholic and I believe there is no point praying to and worshipping a god that isn’t even there. You have to use your strength and guidance to carve a clear path in life.
Because of my heretics, my addiction to black, and me being a goth. I was enrolled in Onyx high school. Today I’ll be starting my first day of high school. Alone. I don’t have friends because I believe they’ll just stab you in the back so I rather not have any”.Friends are irrelevant” is what I always say.
Chapter 2
Hi, my name is Christopher Starr I am adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Smith. My parents are believed to have gone awol. I don’t believe that I think they’re dead. The only thing I have of them is my limestone necklace, a bit girly but I'll guard it with my life and treasure it with all my heart. I love my Adoptive family they’re the only family I know, it's just that they’re catholic and I don’t believe in God, the world is run by logic and reason there is no higher power.
Because of this, they enrolled me in Onyx High school. I think It’s mostly because of me experimenting on living creatures for research and they think that’s insane and cruel.
Today I will be starting my first day of high school. I hope I make some friends
Chapter 3
Onyx high school is a very big and creepy school. There were slots in the wall that look like “Arrow loops”. There was a country yard or open space surrounded by walls. As Christopher and Lily walked inside they could see open halls and 20 feet ceilings. It seemed like a medieval castle; as they walked further down the corridor following the directions the guard told them Lily felt something was off then she realized. They were the only students or people for that matter in the building.
Hey said Lily have you noticed we’re the only people in this building. Now that you mention it said, Christopher yeah that’s kinda weird. No shit Sherlock muttered, Lily. Ignoring that comment Christopher introduced himself hi my name is Christopher please do not call me Chris. Hi, Chris, she said my name is Lily. Do you want- started Chris no I don’t want to be your friend so don’t bother asking interrupted Lily. Firstly don’t call me Chris secondly why not? he asked because friends are irrelevant, stated Lily. I'll make you accept me as your friend said Chris just watch I’ll show and teach you the benefits of having a friend. So you’re gonna follow me around in school aren’t you sighed Lily yep said, Chris so let’s keep moving.
As they descended the corridor that leads to the orientation hall they heard a scream coming from the opposite direction. what was that asked Lily uninterested she was half sure it was a prank. Picking up on Lily’s uninterest he said well we have to find out now don’t we, he said in mock innocence. As they quickly walked down the opposite corridor they saw something horrendous, countless students, in a gigantic bag getting pulled out and eaten one by one by some monster.
Chapter 4
Well said Lily we saw what it was can we go now. no Chris shouted harshly we have to save them. And how pray to tell are we going to do that, I mean look at it she harshly whispered. She hates retreating but she has to, she thought. We don’t know them, they don’t know us so let's just go. She's right Chris thought this goes beyond any logic and reason he could produce this what he called an odd phenomenon and that was bad he didn’t like not knowing about something. They stared at the creature's razor-sharp forearm talons and its shark-like teeth and jaws and began to turn away.
An ear-splitting scream, but it sounds familiar, then another, that too sounds familiar she whirled around in time to see her adoptive parents being plucked out of the bag and being slowly eaten. They came before her to sort out some paperwork involving her mental problems. NOOOOO, she screamed Dad, Mom. Run they screamed, get out of here and remember we’ll always love you, then, they were gone. The best turned around licked its lips, smiled, and began stalking towards them. Let’s go, shouted Chris, snapping her out of her trance. They stumbled and ran toward the exit but came to a halt when they saw another creature but it only had two people in its jaws. M-o-om D-a-ad stuttered Chris But they were gone too, just like my own parents.
We started running in a whole different direction opposite to where they intended originally. After they were sure they lost them they stood there in silence for a few moments until Lily broke the ice. I took advantage of them, She started I didn’t appreciate them and now they’re gone and cried Lily dead she said. I was surprised at first because I thought she was some kind of an emotionless loner. But now I see she’s just someone who lost her only family. She's just like me.
Just then as they were wallowing in their stupidity, sadness, and self-pity a weird hole appeared, and they were sucked in.
To this point, they said I don’t mind dying.
Then they were gone.
Relieved from their misery.
