A Windy Evening
#WritcoStoryPrompt15
The maid's eyes grew wide at the crumpled paper the woman had.
"Help," it read.
When she looked up, the woman was gone...

Help. Who was she? Why was she here?
The mansion had no visitors to speak of.
Not since the master and mistress had all but forgotten about this place.
Should she tell the masters about this?
They would certainly turn it down, implying trickery and a children's prank.

The woman who gave this was weird as well.
Her complexion was not the healthiest nor was she the cleanest.
Her clothes was the most weirdest thing, who would ever wear that this day and age?
The woman looked only around her mid-twenties, fashion should come naturally.

Unless? No, that can't be. There's no way it could be a ghost.
That's too crazy of an idea to speak of in the first place.
Sure there has been some unsettling disturbances here and there but that's because the mansion was old!
Deciding to dismiss the idea and this whole fiasco completely.
It was time for me to turn in, wind's been getting ever more chilly.

Turning to walk to my quarters, a small voice whispers in my ear.
"May the winds be with you, Milady."
