no longer feel that fire in my tummy
once thought poetry is an integral part of my anatomy
with rhymes flowing through my veins
but guess there's something more important in life,so tried to take up its reins
and there'll always be a part of my soul living through my poems long after I get deceased
guess life's a bitch,so I'mma take hold of it before it bits me making me rabid and diseased
for a long part of this humble existence of mine,I cared much about how those people could be pleased
this virus of external validation took a heavy toll on my sanity and inner peace
so I've now decided to call it a day till those satanic whispers cease
to bleed my ears with the ominous cries of a demon likes of which I've never before seen !!
