Ishwari was a hardworking nurse for a certain charitable hospital. Only a year ago she had completed her nursing graduation, and was then quickly employed owing to her scholarly acumen. In her hospital she was known for her punctuality and her dedication towards work. Albeit, many of her colleagues often used to playfully pull her legs due to her conserved, laid-back nature, not actively approachable for casual talks.

She was engaged with Naman, a well-known government official in their South-Indian town, and was due to be married to him in upcoming weeks. Little did she know that something unique was about to happen in her life which was about to change it substantially.

So on one fateful Saturday evening when she was about to pack her belongings and head back for her home; She heard the high-pitched sound of an ambulance rushing directly towards the hospital’s front gate. Since it was late-evening of weekend, there were already fewer medical practitioners available. Ishwari saw four paramedics opening the back-door of the ambulance and carrying a critically injured man till the front gate. Once reached, the man was safely placed on a stretcher and rushed to the emergency room.
