There strict teacher Mr Sisubalan teaches  maths ,all children of grade 7
watching boringly.
Here comes Gita .
She knocks the door  and says "Excuse me ..sir ."
"Ah Gita every day you are late.
Late comer .late looser
How are u going to study?
You need daily canings."
He brings the cane out and gives five shots on each hand. Her hands  become red.
What a pity! Her tears fall on her face.
Her dress is torn and patched.
She sits in the last bench and no one dares sits next to her because she is from a low class.
She writes with a half broken borrowed pencil  and a tiny eraser.
No one likes her in the class.
She doesn't mind.
She focuses on studies as others tease her.
Gita ,why you have to study?

Gita turns away and bell rings.
Gita lives with her only grandma .Their only home is hay thatched cottage .
Her grandma is sick and she takes care of her. She wakes at 2 am starts to study until 3 am. She fetches water from rivers and well. She goes to paddy cultivation and her vegetable garden.
She works as a farmer and gardener.
At 5 am ,she sells newspapers and vegetables. She goes to florist to decorate and pack flowers for bouquet.
At Sundays and Saturdays she sells fruits , flowers and vegetables at fair.
Then she works as a clever assistant in famous book shop and the manager is kind to her. He also books ,notebooks and pencils. But he can't do it always .
She buys medicine for her grandma and cook food for her. Her grandma is very proud of her. Sometimes she goes fishing and works in garment shop.
Well she also studies and does her homework. She manages everything.
That 's why she is late to school.
Nobody  knows this and she never tells.
   Gita is really happy .
She is afraid too but confident.
 

There come Miss Linda ,she helps Gita
secretly if Mr Sisubalan knows he will plan to fire her because he 's chauvinist
and jealous about her talent.
He always underestimate her when she is young student because she is lazy.
Unexpectedly, his daughter failed and she entered university. Thats why hatred.
Gita hugs Miss Linda and says ,
"Good morning  Madam
I feel very nervous. Why ?"
Linda kisses and says
Well you work and study
But look at other children.
They do nothing except studying.
But some empty bottles can't study.
I know you will definitely pass thus this exam.
Every body writes the test.
Gita performs well.
Who knows what will happen when. When  Linda hears that Gita 's answer sheet hasn't gone. She tries to investigate  with everyone. She finds the torn paper in garbage. She takes this to principal.  There she starts investigating students. Deepa could no more hide the truth and she says what happened  . She grows furious and
Complains to principal. As it may cause
a major issue, he asks both of them leave school ,she is from low class.
Everyone is sad but nothing could do.
Linda requests everyone to hide from Gita what happens.
Gita learns somehow this but before she comes they already  left.
She is in unbearable pain ,it is not the paper but Miss Linda . She never could find such a nice person then Deepa gives a letter .

Her heart melts but couldn't keep her tears in her eyes.  Every body speaks about Mr .John, American lawyer and Maths teacher is joining school. All bothers except Gita.
Mr John is nice kind man but strict in discipline.  He excuses Gita but couldn't be patient any more. He starts punishing her with canning but he understands that she is used to this .
Once he goes to gym at 4 am, he sees her working in paddy fields.He starts to spy on her and understands all hardships . He asks about Gita with all teachers. They reply that she is good silent girl but nobody bothers because of low class  except the teacher Miss Linda. She helps her very much and Gita also scores good results. They tells what happened in the examination. He feels very sorry for her and visits her grand ma. Her grandma praises about her grand daughter. That morning she comes very late.
He doesn't punish but hugs her and says others about her daily routine.
He supports her in her studies.
But no one could expect this ,her
grand ma 's condition becomes worse and admitted to hospital. There continues famine that strikes all farmers. Nobody dares to help each other. Gita 's looses the job of cultivation. Even she finds difficult in
her own garden .She walks several miles for water. Her grandma 's condition  becomes worse .the medicines are really expensive .
She goes to near by hotel to work all night shifts and some morning shifts.All
She has to wash dishes,cleaning and mopping. She also sells water by collecting from rivers of far distance and delivery business of commodities.
The book shop keeper also lends money
but she refuses it .She knows she cannot pay but he says"It is not a loan".
She 's happy thats enough to look after grandma.  She goes lean and pale.
She finds difficult to concentrate on studies and sometimes she doesn't find time to sleep. She faces insomnia and suffers severely .
She goes to school and collects all notes.
Mr .John worries much about her and he helps her by excuses and teaching all lessons. She has to kneel down ,hear scolding and  punishments.
She studies by herself  and falls sick.
She drinks her own herbal medicines that gives her results from her herbal garden  .She sells sachets of herbs.
She  does others class homework and earns money from them.
She sells clothes all way.
All goes in severe ,where her grandma passes away. She couldn't bear this but has to run life by herself. She feels lonely, so she is afraid too. She feels insecure because  of  the drunkards .
They come often in search of her everyday.She hides in pot and roof.
She thinks to raise dogs .She takes twenty  street dogs and gave her food remains. No one dares to come near.
That day, they come to rape her .They tear her dress ,she starts crying and dogs become furious. They start barking and biting them.They gather around and chase them away.  There comes Linda and sees her torn dress of her and gita on straw bed.Miss Linda starts crying. And Gita wakes up,as she sobs and cries narrating last night .
Linda decides to stay with her .
Gita  waits for her lovely dawn in her life.

There principal announces  about of 1
Million rupees scholarship study in USA with life long free visa and as a citizen.
It is an world famous olympiad .
All students from any age category can participate.
Classes cost rupees 50,000.
Gita is eager to write this exam but how can she pay such amount of money.
She speaks to Mr . John.
Sir, the olympiad.....

Yeah Gita , It is a good opportunity.

The scientist named William comes around .He looks at sad Gita. She knows she won't be selected. She starts her presentation regarding her robot. She describes all features ,pros and cons.She operates the robot and it works for a twenty seconds.William said nothing but smiles like a half moon. The final result is to be announced. Everyone are do anxious and nervous."Ronald".All cheer s him.Gita is missing. She is working at school laboratory.Fixing all errors. William is watching her work .He sees her hardworking and determination more than competition. He knocks the door. Gita opens not the door ,there gate to success. He speaks 'my dear, it is over and why do you ? No sir,may be this is over but my hardworking is not over .
He awards her the token to participate in International competition of Robotics. She is very happy.Ronald is not. His jealous is pouring like vine of hemlock. He breaks her legs and hands by pushing her down from hill after night class. Now she is hospitalised. Still she is thinking about the next project. She wants to do something to her village.She knows how hard for people to get water ,so decides to build a dam from the money that she received from the ceremony. She comes back to India. She plans to build it all alone. All villagers help her in this task and finally after three months there stands a dam.All are in glee.Everyone celebrates this wonderful occasion. Unfortunately no one knows what a terrible incident. Some womenis raped by the jealousy village men. She doesn't cry but files a case against them .She feels the pain of poor village women. Next they have to open an Iron door or die by shooting on head .They arrange the gas cylinder as a rocket and project's to the door and accidently hits the girl and she asks Gita to kill her by gun .She does as she wish.The killer comes inside and Gita shoots him to die.They both escape.They come to cafe .The girl introduces herself .My name is Glen, a retired scientist of Robotics. I'm Gita,scientist but not now.There comes William. Hello Ladies, welcome.Gita you have been selected for the next project, Alita. The project of brand new Alpha cars. She flies to London. She continues her studies. There comes a bully girl Sam. She doesn't like Gita at all.She knows her boyfriend likes Gita.Gita teaches him only but doesn't have desire upon him. Sam pours water on her head .Gita hits on her head so hard. It turns to viral video and both of them gets suspended for three months. Gita stays at her apartment. She drinks eats and sleeps. She has no work to do
There comes an advertisement a temporary teacher for a rural school.She joins.They give her a mischievous class.First day,they pour a bucket of water on her. She understands them .She does not get angry.She enters the room burns on lighter smoke so water spray turns on. "Welcome to new session. I am your English teacher .My name is Gita ."The lessons are so boring. She makes them quite interesting. She provides the assignments. Once there rise a gang fight,no one is able to control. Some ignore but not Gita. She flushes water with a water pipe. They keep calm.She inquires them .It is a low high class disclarity.She speaks of herself .That's she is from low class .Class is not a problem more than humanity and love .She warns them not to do so again.She opens a new library and buildings.She does extra free classes for poor students. A desperate child of delexia enters named Ramesh.He is very silent always under detentions.She helps him and he becomes bright. His parents thank her so much. She leaves the school sadly.She has no idea to go back to USA .She comes to village again.She goes to her old cottage.She collects straws and wood to rebuild her cottage.She starts her old life again. She gets an appointment as a principal. Still she walks to school. She does all her usual jobs such as gardening and paddy field cultivation. There famine strikes the village .Gita feels very sad about this prevailing situation.She starts to raise funds.She goes out of village with school scout.She gets numerous funds. This help supports many villagers.MLA and some politicians are so furious regarding Gita 's tasks.Their intention is to exploit the village but she stands like a strong fortress.Exprinciple envies her.He also wants to damage her.Gita realizes that most of students fail in the exams and become child labours.She arranges staff meeting.Through the discussion,that teachers are very irregular and irresponsible. She holds an exam for the teacher.Some of them passed.She appoints them as teachers.She changes the normal studies pattern to healthy way of learning. There comes inter House sports meet .All students gather for their participation. Some thugs mix drugs in sherbets for Gita 's school students. First Gita tastes ,she feels something strange. She forbids others from drinking. Unfortunately a small kid drinks it and he faints.Gita leaves the responsibility to her secretary. She carries the child to nearby hospital. The doctor neglects to accept him.Gita threatens him and he is forced to treat.He gives him an antidote and child is saved. Gita smiles in relieve.
She gives a call to someone. No one knows what going to happen. Suddenly police arrests some people .They have taken drugs .The same drinks are drunk by those culprits. This is big blow to politicians. They invite her for dinner and
ask her to leave the village for exchange one crore.Gita leaves the place .The school is recognised as state school. All the students are attending school regularly. The Neet results have shown their performances. The private schools keep going down because of Gita 's government school. They want her to stop.There is international English poetry competition and Gita 's school is selected as the topper .All the poems are dedicated to Gita as a great leader and nick named as Diamond in the rough by her school students. There are so many prizes and praises for Gita and her proud students.
Gita feels the real happiness of success.The poor parents fall to her knees but she refuses such type of offering. That offering is due to gratefulness to create a pathway for their children.Parents and students arrange a festival for all teachers. Gita cooks tasty and delicious sweat milk rice. Every one eats hungrily.Some parents put up stalls and book sales.All people from everywhere come to see this events.
No one expects what danger awaits Gita.
There comes a hyena ,yes man in shape .Wicked in appearance and sense .He takes his gun out pulls his trigger .The bullet flies and strikes the extraordinary delicate diamond.It is none other than Gita .She is bleeding and admitted to hospital. The thug is trampled to death by people.There are so many people crowd at the hospital. Weeping ,crying ,screaming and praying fill the calm air.Gita is luckily saved by the doctors. All are very happy. The killer and the bullet can hurt her body but not her strong soul and heart. The answer is so simple she is a Diamond in rough .
