The footsteps following me sounded closer. I ran through the empty corridors of the hospital, my heart pounding with terror.
I turned a corner and stopped short. I had reached a dead end. I was caught up by shock, I was out of breath,those men in black were out of sight, but I could still feel the presence surrounding me.
I couldn't go to the lobby, for I will meet my end. As I went to the basement, I met a guy in the car, I almost tiptoed away, but he kind of didn't notice me, more to that he was on earpiece, I couldn't believe somebody can be so calm and in a serene state right now. I felt like stealing his moment, and I realised I was already fantasising, when I felt this warm tap on my shoulder, gotta admit, have never felt that in a long time. This guy starred into my eyes, Omg I was melting but had to act normal, I got lost in thoughts again until the gunshot reminded me of reality.
This guy tossed me aside like he was my body guard, like he could take a bullet for me. He asked me what is going on, why they are after me, but I couldn't just open up to the stranger, I told him that it was like in the movies, bad guys chasing the good guy, and the boy ask who the good guy was, I looked at him in a surprise state and said, "me off course", if I was the the bad guy, I would have slayed you, the boy smiled, and it wasn't funny at all.
Before we could utter another word the elevator opened, and gunshots started. we entered the next room, and we were being chased, the guy asked me to hide behind that table, and I asked him why I should trust him, and he said I have no choice in this situation, out of a sudden, he asked me to keep quiet, I hidded behind the locker, he stoid behind the door and as those bad guys entered, superman fought them like he was trained all his life for that, but he's not actually superman. He finished those guys in just few secs, I send my head above the locker and looked him, when the coast was clear, I was shocked and asked him where he was from, and he told me he don't trust people who don't trust him, and told me I have to tell him everything because I had dragged him into my mess. so there's was no turning back, I had to tell this guy.
Omg did you just say your being wanted by some top officials, for a formulae,"yes " , if I give them what they are asking for, then I would be killing half of this nation, and before they get it, its only if am dead. Don't bother, I will protect you. okay superhero, noe you have to tell me how you knew all those fighting skills, are you some kungfu guy, no I worked in the military, but resigned, because I couldn't clean their dirt.
So I had to sneak into the lab and clear any kind of material linked to the formulae. so we entered the lab, and the cupboard where I kept the sample was empty, my heart pounded so heart I went out of breath, superhero restored the breath, and told me I can't give up, that we need to go behind them and get it back,then just then, a gunshot came from behind, thank God, they hadn't gone far, I spotted the sample and told my superhero, and he went straight for it, but he was kicked and even hit with the gun, I stood there Like a fool, I was in my weapon shop, I used some chemicals and burned faces, it was cool, but that gut with the sample was the devil himself, I had to help superman, so u went and jumped on that man, that was like the dumbest thing I have ever done.
Superman shakes his head and had to do something, that's when he sent this guy to his grave, and I knew from within he didn't want me getting hurt, but he will deny it. we took the sample and headed for the outside, superman called the FBI a trusted person, and FBI was all over the place, everything went soar for the officials, as there was no sample, because I had destroyed it, and was on my way to another country. we stood at the main entrance and that's when we knew each other's name. Very funny.
