My cousin Alex and I haven't had much luck in the love department. We both were engaged at one time only to have the other person back out. It has been so frustrating. Alex had stopped by my apartment one Saturday. We started hitting the alcohol.

"You know Elaine, you and I must be cursed, considering how bad our love lives are."

I had to agree with my cousin. Things weren't looking good these days. Alex came over and sat next to me on my sofa. We poured two glasses of scotch and clinked glasses. That bourbon went down smooth. Alex set his glass down. He wrapped his arm around my neck.

"What do you think we should do?" He asked me.
