It took me a year. A whole year passed without me using my favorite body lotion because you loved the way it smelled.

The first time I used it after the break-up, I crumbled and cried, remembering your face in my neck, breathing in the mango scent.
I loved these moments, silly yet so incredibly intimate.

And so in order to spare myself more tears and heart ache, I haven't used it since. Until today.

I didn't cry.
I DID think about you but no tears were shed.

It made me feel hopeful. #lettingyougo
