Jessica's P.O.V
I felt when the car came to a stop. I sat up looking at the environment that we were in now. Jason' s parents house. Why are so many persons here?. Shooks. Jason' s parents anniversary. Right. May God help me and this crowd. I woke up Jessy and Jase putting on their coats. It was really cold outside especially because it was after 8 now. We got out of the car. Jason lifted them up. " Let' s go meet your grandparents", he said smiling and walking off into the house with them. I leaned on the car looking at them. After closing the doors, Sara came beside me smiling. " I' m proud of you Jess. You have raised two beautiful children. I love them", Sara said smiling. " Thanks Sara. They' re my world", I said. " So ah...aren't you going to go inside?", she asked. " Ah...no. I' m not ready yet", I said staying put. " ok. I'll wait with you", she said placing her hands in her pockets. I smiled looking at her fingers. " So ahh...you and Jason?. How are things between you two?", I asked. She almost choked. " Jess?. Jason and I got a divorce like 3 years ago. We finally convinced my dad that we were not comfortable doing whatever we were doing. I am not into Jason and I was never was.", Sara said laughing. I looked at her shocked. " I thought you guys got married and fell in love after. I guess I was wrong", I said looking at her." Yeah. And we both know who he was in love with", she commented." That was in high school. We've both changed", I said. " Yeah. That's how life is. As you go along. You change for better or worse", she said. " Now come on, let' s go inside", she added pulling me ahead. I walked beside her those around us stared at me. I noticed some familiar faces. I don't even remember some of their names only their faces. May God help me. Some persons came up to Sara and I and greeted us. As soon as I reached inside the house the music got even louder in my ears. I searched around for Jase and Jessy. I saw that they were both where Jason' s parents were. They were so happy to meet them. I guess Jason had told them about it. I saw when Mr. Richards looked up at me. His smile broke. Right. I made my way over to where they were. " Happy Anniversary Mr and Mrs. Richards", I said smiling. They both looked up at me still shocked. " Jessica, how are you my dear. It' s been a while.", Mrs. Richards said hugging me. " I know right", I commented breaking the hug. They turned their attention to Jase and Jessy who were both chasing each other around Jason. I knew everyone was steering now. Now that there were 3 unfamiliar faces in the room. I felt really uncomfortable.
