[the week ago ]
[the 3rd saturday of the month]
...until she realised what she missed seeing.
she always say a little girl waiting at the 9th table, which is opposite to Lily's, with a red balloon everytime she visited.
she always wondered, why is that adorable kid alone?
but now;
she realised that the girl looked familiar.
maybe similar to someone she already know?

"hi! how come you are always sooner than me?" asked Greg with a winsome smile.
she smiled at him but didn't reply.
she kept staring at him for longer intervals now.
Greg chuckled and teased her for staring at him, saying she already fell in love with him. but little did he know what's on her mind.
that day was different from their usual.
it was more silent and more eye gazing.
"are you married? do you have a kid?" asked lily crisply to Greg, breaking the silence lingering there.
he choked on his water and stared at her in shock.
"what? no way! why would you ask me that? i promise, i would never hide anything from you lily. trust me." said Greg holding Lily's hand tenderly.
"that kid there. she looks so similar to you. her eyes, nose and smile. everything looks the same." said lily with a poker face.
"oh" exclaimed Greg in surprise and turned around.
his eyes widened when he realised what he saw and why lily was staring at him.
"i...i can ex-plain lily." said Greg. "she's actually my sister. i take care of her and whenever we have to meet. i bring her here with me."
"why didn't you introduce her to me?" asked lily. "come on! what is it? your face tells me a different story. who is she? Greg."
there was straight 5 minutes of silence. lily was patiently waiting for him to answer.
but he didn't utter a word.
lily stood and left in anger.
[scene at the 9th table of the restaurant]
"maya!" cried out Greg. "why are you here? what are you thinking you are doing here?"
maya replied; "papa, i came to tell the aunt you are visiting that you are an amazing father and i would love her to be my mother!"
Greg was in tears hearing that. he hugged her and left in the car after she finished her icecream.
[while, lily was walking on the street]
"heyy!!" called out a voice from behind.
