We indeed claim that we know God and we believe in him. It's good to have faith in him. The problem with the church is, we've brought the world into the church and we say we are indeed the body of Christ.

Let's take a look on what is happening in the church:

🌺 Jealousy and Competition( James 4:1)
A lot of jealousy and strife continue to rise in the church. Instead of cooperation, competition is leading to the extremes. We are one body, and one body has different functions each has been given his gift, some are called apostles, prophets and some they have peculiar gifts. We are jealous of other people's successes. This has resulted in so many people no longer confident to share their gifts and talents because they're afraid of criticisms.
Jealousy and competition in the church is no different to witchcraft.

🌺 Corruption
In an attempt to understand about the crucial things, instead of attracting lost souls, some are withdrawing from coming to church if they witness a hamper of corruption. Corruption is associated with the world. When we as the body of Christ become corrupt what are we trying to do? We see corruption from every angle, yet each man is called to serve, but when we see the whole nuclear family serving in the same industry, what then shall we say? Is it a calling or you want to be known that I am an expert in this? Well, we should set our priorities right whenever we tell ourselves we want to serve God.
