Crying for a Change
It is very sickening for the ear to keep on capturing news of corruption every dawn and dusk. Leaders are elected to serve the people, not to embezzle public funds entrusted to them for specified sectoral development. They are always uncontented craving for opportunities to grab more and more like unsatisfied tombs while the deprived in the society who are the core contributors of these funds continue to suffer silently.

A worse paradigm is what has happened in Kenya where amidst the scourge by the noel coronavirus, the funds donated by kind people who sacrificed their own needs, and aid funds from abroad to help in battle against Covid-19 has been misused by greedy people.

This has largely aided in slow curbing of the virus by rendering the hospitals across the country ineffective. Apart from that, the little that is left in the collection pool, cannot support all the hospitals leading to disparity in the context of uniform distribution of the funds.

The money cannot even stand for the medical expenses of the noel coronavirus victims, yet it was solely collected for that main purpose. What kind of leaders are these? We're tired of their usual behaviour of acting a lamb during elections only to expose their wolf traits during their tenure.

They furtherly cross the boundaries by selling medical equipment to the nearby countries, as if our hospital are overflooded by these facilities. However, I wonder how the hearts of the citizens are easily enticed by their pathological lies when campaigning or maybe they forget like warthogs.

We need a change that will drive the nation to achieve our vision. A change that will provide equally opportunity to all citizens as far as employment is concerned. A changed nation where all its citizens can sufficiently provide the basic needs to their family without struggling effortlessly. What's the need of keeping it all to yourself and let the nation retard in growth while others continue to suffer in silence agony? Is that a perfect description of humanity, or humanity is losing its value by diverting to animality as time goes by?

Another unbelievable issue, is employing those who are old enough to stay at home, and on pension. Are there no young energetic and educated elites nationwide who can take hold of these positions and deliver diligently? Why aren't they considered when such opportunity arises?

Additionally, those given power to appoint workers, continously select the working lots. A person is working and under payroll with other several company, but they get appointed for other important post. Is that a way of saying among all the million Kenyans, there're no unemployed competitive professionals?

We need a change that can only be a reality if only the people decide carefully through a free and just elections.
