THE LEFT LETTERS (Part 2)
I saved the phone numbers in my phone and tried to figure out the map. Next day, I called at the numbers from a nearby PSO. But, none picked up the calls. I spent my time in searching about the owners of the no.s. And after 2 days of constant calling from different no.s, a lady answered one call. I told her that Pijush Mukherjee asked me to call her and I am his secretary, Gini Sen. She introduced herself as Shivana Bose. She didn't know about Grandpa's death and talked casually asking about his health. She also asked about me saying, "How's Liral, my second cousin? I am heading back to Kolkata and I'm eager to see her." I was shocked when she addressed me as 'SECOND cousin'. I tried to say that she didn't need to come. But before I could say anything, She said, “ Don't worry! I won't let her see me. I'll just take a glance at her from far."
The lady was my second cousin and the 2 no.s were her. I never knew I had a family except my belated parents and Grandpa. I was very suspicious at that moment and the whole world seemed me twisted. How could I have a cousin about whom I had never heard?!!?!
I decided to keep on looking into Grandpa's letters. But, there were nothing special or suspicious. Everything was the record of his daily life. In one of the letters, He wrote that he met a grandson of his best friend, Bimal Sarkar on his funeral. He put a impressive expression on Grandpa. He was Dev Sarkar, a detective.

Inspecter interrupts: You mean DS?

(I nod.)

Inspector (laughs): So, you mean, your Grandfather used to know DS? Exciting! Continue your story then.

Then, in next letters, I found that, he started to visit Dev from then. In the letters I found that they never met in the same place in their next meet. They discussed about something, which Grandpa hadn't mentioned in any of the letters. After reading few of those letters I found something in common. He wrote 12.13.22 at the end of the pages in all the letters about Dev. I found it a little bit of interesting. So, I decided to meet Dev personally. I checked Grandpa's phone but didn't find any contact name saved as Dev or Dev Sarkar. I decided to look into all the contact numbers from start. And found, a strange number saved as DBS. I immediately saw through His tricks.

Inspector: DBS??

Yeah! DBS. Dev Bimal Sarkar.

Inspector : So, you have DS's no.?

(I shake my head) I used to.

Inspector frowns...
