Bloody Rain and Frigid Waters
You're standing at the quiet and empty beach, letting the blood rain down on you, as you listen to everyone scream in the distance.
It was a cloudy sky, and you're watching the drops fall into the ocean, seeing the red pigment swirl in the blue-ish water, slowly fading as they combine.
You stare. You find it fascinating. The way that something can blend in so easily, even if the components are different. You feel your stomach twist. You know that it didn't belong, it will always be different, and that its parts will never be accepted, almost like how you never will.
You enter the now blood stained water, feeling the chill of your flesh slowly submerging into the depths of the ruleless sways of the tides. The pierce of cold water touches your stomach and eventually your neck, as you go deeper and deeper, feeling the oddly warming touch of the bloody raindrops, and the feeling of your legs giving into the icy waters below.
The sensation of your legs going slowly going numb, the bitterly cold water touching your skin, it makes you feel alive. During all the terror people around you are going through, the terror you went through, you finally found life in you. The warmth of the red tinted rain, the frigid feeling of the sea, pulling you in closer, and closer, until you lose all warmth that you had felt for the first time.
Your head fully submerged, and everything else faded. You could barely hear the screams, the cries of children, or the sirens ringing. You only felt the tides pull you back and forth as a strange sensation embraces you, over taking any other thoughts and senses. The voices you've heard all your life start drifting away as you move farther and further away from shore. You feel at peace.
