Diamond Necklace
#WritcoStoryPrompt5
The diamond necklace on the mannequin looked familiar. She placed her palm on the window that separated them and leaned in closer. What a beauty it was, once again she was taking it in. A gift of freedom it had been.

Life had always sucked for Tanya. Her mother had left her in the streets wrapped in a blanket when she was still a baby. She had been taken to a children's home. Her first foster family took her in when she was 10 but had later realized they could not deal with a stubborn kid like her. Life became a movement from one foster care to another and back to the children's home. No love, even from the sisters who took her in.

On her eighteenth birthday she decided to go look for greener pastures. The universe was kind a bit to enable her secure a job and a room which she shared with four others. However, she dreamt of a luxurious life. A life of fun and parties, one she couldn't afford with her current wage. She tried getting up to 3 jobs and her income was still not enough.

Marianna was one of her roommates who had a stable life but was laying low hence living with them. She had acquired her stable luxurious life through her stripper job. From time to time she would go to one of her condos but when there was trouble in paradise she would stay in that simple room shared with three others.

Over the course of time, Tanya grew a great interest in Marianna and soon they became friends. Marianna would take her to posh clubs and strip clubs to have fun. Sometimes she would give her lessons on how to strip like a pro and ho like you got nothing to lose. Not having much to lose, Tanya did not mind getting into Marianna's world.

The first ho attempts were scary and nerve wrecking. Well, she had spent most of her life in a Christian children's home where morals were held high. Soon, she got a grip of it and even further became a pro. Dubai, Paris, shopping sprees became her new thing. Yet still none so far to really save her from her miserable life.

One Saturday evening she was getting ready for one of her sponsors when Marianna called her to join in a hidden party that was to be filled with rich business men. At first, Tanya was hesitant because she did not want to lose her current sponsor but Marriana was insistive enough to make her come up with a lie and ditch her current Sugar.

"May I have this dance?" someone politely asked Maria.

With her fuck me eyes staring at the gentleman she said yes. On the dance floor, she was able to inquire and found out that the fine middle aged gentleman was a huge investor and a business man. He had just launched an app that had been globally accepted. Jackpot.

Tanya had left with Gaels number, the fine gentleman who asked her for a dance. Within no time they were traveling and having fun. The only problem was she was liking him more than she should. Who wouldn't? He was hot and rich.

Dubai was on their travel list on September and come then he didn't disappoint. They enjoyed the beach, the water, the Burj Al Arab and of course lots of shopping. At Creeks Luxury shop, Gael got her a jewel she never imagined she could have. A great investment. A diamond necklace worth $100,000. This was it, a chance to buy her own apartment, get a new car and fucking live better.

Hugging him tightly she accepted the lovely gift. She thanked him more later than night with a steamy bed time session. The went back home and continued to hang out with Tanya's lovely gift locked in a box under her bed. For three months she went out searching for the perfect house and the perfect car while still enjoying sex with Gael. There was one problem, Gael had become stingy ever since they came back and did not treat her as nicely as he did once a time. Tanya grew distant and avoided him from time to time.

One Saturday morning, she saw a real estate offer advertised on the small TV they had. The apartments were beautiful and were going for 40% off. She called Marianna who helped her find a good place to sell the necklace and get the apartment. She also blocked Gael never to see him again.

Life was better. The life she had dreamt of. A new fully furnished place, a land cruiser while stlill having sponsors here and there to cater for her day to day bills. She was happy it had all worked out. Talk of a happy ending. On one of her tours in Madrid was where she spotted the same necklace that had changed her life. How had it come this far? Once more she stared at it and thanked the universe.
