The wet clay called up to
Chandru's mini backyard
& I went there, surprisingly
a young women stood there
sobbing towards the ground.

I dragged her by her arm
with a frightful anger &
her rainy red eyes
confirmed my fear.

She cried out,"your brother
is no more "...
My ears shut everything out,
but her voice box did not,
"I murdered him to
save my family "
I asked her nothing &
followed her...

In a candle-lit room,
the gangsters had pinned
all her kith and kin
over ice coffins..
