PARIS (A love untold)
"Where do you want to go?" He asked.

"What do you mean?" she answered, in a slow, low tone, low key, and weak voice. She tried to open her eyes, and her tears formed when she saw her bestfriend cyring in front of her.

"Why? Why Laura? You're sick yet you did not tell me anything about this? Am I— Am I that meaningless to— you?" his voice broke. Indication that he's hurt, and that broke Laura even more. "Why? You knew I'd understand you, you knew I'll do everything to make you happy, you knew I would stay," his voice became sad, begging for an explicit explanation.

"I'm sorry, Marcus..." she cried. "I really wanted to tell you about my illness very soon, I'm sorry."

"Laura, why?" Marcus kneeled in front of her hospital bed. "You know I love you, I'll help you, this is breaking me."

"Marcus..."

"Am I too late my love? It has no cure, right?"

Laura nodded, breaking both of their hearts more.

"I want to do everything baby, but— but how?"

"Ssshhh, you can at least do something for me Marcus." there hearts were in sync, they're mutuals, both were happy and broke at the same time. For being together, but for the last time.

"What?"

"Take me to Paris, I want to see it... for the last time."

"Baby?"

"Please,"

Marcus hugged Laura tight, so tight that he don't want her to bid goodbye, too tight that he doesn't want her gone.

"Okay baby, we're going to Paris now."

The new lovers happily traveled Paris. It was her first time their, but also her last time. Everyone was broken, his heart was tore into pieces as they both watched the beautiful iconic tower in front of them.

"I'm sorry, I can't make it with you anymore Marcus. Please be happy, always happy."

The leaf fell off from the old tree where their bench was placed, it landed on the grass, and as she smiled she slowly closed her eyes.

"I love you, Marcus."

It's her first time saying she loved him, it's his first time hearing her said that. And it's indeed heartbreaking.

"I love you, Laura. Sleep tight my baby."

As her tear landed softly through her cheeks, she closed her eyes to sleep

forever.

After all, it was not an usaid love. And they both reached Paris, her dream destination for her last hours together with the man she loves.
