The Mailman Who Stopped The War
A mailman named, Josh, was riding on a horse to deliver letters to many people who were waiting to receive letters. What type of letters? Happy, sad, love, invatations, business purposes, wedding cards and much more. Josh loved to deliver letters. Why? During delivering them, he would love to meet the people whom he were delivering to.
Especially when he meets the children. Sometimes he would give them sweets. About his life, he was a simple gentleman, loved to play violin, reading books and led a simple life.
One morning , when he was delivering the letters he suddenly heard a soilder shouting about a war."WAR IS ABOUT TO COME!!!WAR IS COMING!!WAR!!"Everyone came out of there house and gathered around. The soilder asked if any man was interested to participated in the war, he would receive their payment. Some man participted until then when Josh wanted to participted, the soilder simply laughed and he was just a mailman. After hearing this, he felt disgraced because he wanted to fight to protect his nation but at the same time he loved delivering the letters because he remembered his mother's saying that "If you send a message to anyone, you are like a servant of God who told you to deliver the message even it's about sad or happy or about hatred but you must deliver it"
Josh arrived his home after finishing delivering the letters and it was almost night time, so he decided to read a book before going to bed but suddenly, a continuous banging hit on his door. He asked," Who in the middle of night would be awake in this middle of night??" He opened the door and he was shocke. A wounded soilder, pleading for help with painful eyes. Josh helped the wounded soilder and asked what happend to him. He said that he was delivering a very very important letter. He gave the letter to Josh to read. But when he read the letter he had horror in his face. In no hesitation, he climbed on his horse and stated riding so fast to reach to the battleground. When he reached there, everyone was in their positions ready to attack. He rode in the middle of them and shouted, " Stooooop!!! There has been a misuderstan-" Before he could finish his lines he felt a bullet on his chest and fell on the ground.
A few days later, he awoke and found himself on bed and surrounded by soilders from two nations and found the ruler of his standing infront oh himself. "Please no need to get up and thank you." Josh was confused until a realisation hit him." The soilder! The letter!"
"Yes we have read the letter and yes there was a misunderstanding between us. You see the soilder was from another nation, who wanted to created a war between two nations but, he didn't want it. So he travelled all the way here to deliver this message to us but then our soilsers misunderstood as a spy and they almost killed but luckily he survived and reached to your home. If it wasn't him and you to deliver it in time, no would know what would happened." Then Josh said, " Well your Majesty, I am just doing my work as a mailman"
