"What a wonderful day"

Mom always said......." Son, no matter what happens to you in a day...'It could have been worse'.....just enjoy the 'wonderfulness' in that day"
Soooo, off to my story
I had a very important interview that day.....I mean I was well dressed all suited up with my best suit. I had checked the weather earlier and it was going to be freezing cold....so I wore a black turtle neck, best black suit and a long brown jacket so as not to freeze to death. I walked out feeling proud of myself, I was already on the bus when it started to rain......
"Shoot" I didn't have my umbrella
For some reason, I removed my jacket....a reason I still don't know till now. Rain started seeping through the windows of the Bus and I got up to help one old woman to close the window near her and before I knew it a seat snatcher had sat in my seat surprisingly leaving the next seat empty and beckoning me to sit.....And the good guy I was thought that everyone is a good guy sat down without a thought. I ignored the feeling at first but when I couldn't I looked down, I saw water flowing down my pants and people laughing at me.
"What a wonderful day, what worse more could happen right...At least I had my jacket to cover it."
"Wrong"
When I got off the bus, it was like I was in a desert, "How did it become scorching hot in minutes" I looked around and saw people in singlets and tank tops while I was the only one here looking like I came from North Pole.....
Knowing I'd get a heat rash, at least I could treat that, not embarrassment. Immediately I got there, I was treated like a celebrity and was asked to meet the CEO because he was interested in my work. I got to his office and he offered me a seat. He was wearing a see through shirt and fanning himself like crazy even with the air conditioning on. He told me to remove my jacket, not trying to give myself away...I said
"I'm allergic to heat"
"What"
"I'm allergic to heat" repeating the stupid statement without thinking it over.
"More reason why you should remove your jacket and it's ' I'm allergic to cold', liar."
He came to my side and removed it saw wet stains.
"Are you alright?, did you wet yourself because you were nervous...how adorable" He said playing with my cheeks.
"It could be worse" I mentally thought.
"Back to business, I demanded to see you because yours is the...."
"Best Presentation" I cut him off
He looked at me amused
"No, never seen anything worse in my history of CEO....... I'd like you to decontaminate my computer by deleting the soft copy, take the hardcopy and leave"
I stared in horror, did as he said and walked out with my wet jacket, wet pants, head bent, an apparently 'wonderful day'. What else could I say.......
