UB (CHAPTER 3)
Kianna's POV

I had never expected Harvey to become such an important part of my life. When we first met, I had written him off as just another popular jock, someone who would never understand my love for books and learning.

But as we started talking more, I began to see a different side of him. He was kind and funny, with a sense of humor that took me by surprise. And the more time we spent together, the more I realized that I was developing feelings for him.

It was a scary feeling, and one that I tried to deny at first. I didn't want to ruin the friendship we had built, and I was afraid that if I told him how I felt, he wouldn't feel the same way.

The next day at school, I found myself trying to avoid Harvey. I knew that I couldn't keep my feelings hidden forever, but I wasn't ready to confront them just yet.

Every time I saw him, my heart would race, and I would feel a mix of excitement and fear. I didn't know how to act around him anymore, and I was terrified that I would do something to ruin our friendship.

As I walked down the hallway, I saw Harvey ahead of me, hanging out with his jock friends. I tried to walk by quickly, hoping that he wouldn't notice me, but he called out my name.

"Hey, Kianna, what's up?" he said, smiling.

I tried to smile back, but I knew that I was blushing. "Not much, just going to class," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady.

Harvey looked at me for a moment, and I could tell that he knew something was off. "Is everything okay?" he asked, his brow furrowing.

I took a deep breath, not sure if I was ready for what might come next. "Actually, there's something I've been meaning to tell you," I said hesitantly.

Harvey's expression turned serious as he looked at me. "What is it?"

I swallowed hard before admitting, "I...I think I have feelings for you."

I expected Harvey to laugh it off or tell me that he didn't feel the same way.

"Kianna, are you serious? Actually I've been trying to figure out how to say this, but the truth is, I have feelings for you too."

I felt my heart skip a beat as I looked at him in shock. "You do?"

Harvey nodded, a small smile on his face. "I know we come from different worlds, but I can't help the way I feel about you. I care about you, Kianna, and I want to explore this connection we have."

I could hardly believe what I was hearing. All this time, I had been afraid that my feelings were one-sided, but it seemed that he had been feeling the same way. It was a surreal moment, but one that I knew I couldn't ignore.

After our emotional confession, Harvey and I spent the night talking and getting to know each other more intimately. Our connection felt stronger than ever, and I was happy that we had finally expressed our true feelings for one another.

The next morning, Harvey called me and invited me to the cinema for a movie date. I was excited and nervous at the same time, but I knew I wanted to spend more time with him.

When we arrived at the cinema, Harvey surprised me by renting out a private screening room. We had the whole place to ourselves, and I felt like a VIP.

As the movie started, I snuggled up next to Harvey, feeling warm and content. The movie was a romantic comedy, and we laughed and enjoyed each other's company.

As the film ended, Harvey turned to me, his eyes sparkling. "Kianna, I know it's our first date, but I feel like I can't imagine my life without you. I want to take you on more adventures and explore the world with you. What do you say?"

I felt a surge of happiness and excitement in my heart. "Okay, let's do that" I said, smiling from ear to ear.

Harvey leaned in and kissed me passionately, and I felt my heart skip a beat. This was where I belonged - in his arms.
