I had never expected Harvey to become such an important part of my life. When we first met, I had written him off as just another popular jock, someone who would never understand my love for books and learning.
But as we started talking more, I began to see a different side of him. He was kind and funny, with a sense of humor that took me by surprise. And the more time we spent together, the more I realized that I was developing feelings for him.
It was a scary feeling, and one that I tried to deny at first. I didn't want to ruin the friendship we had built, and I was afraid that if I told him how I felt, he wouldn't feel the same way.
