Whispers In The Woods: He Was A Werewolf Part 2
9 Sep 2024 at 9:58PM

He was a werewolf.
The realization hit Bella like a wave, flooding her with a dizzying mix of terror and exhilaration.
This was the creature of her dreams, capturing her imagination for years.

He took a step forward, and Bella felt a surge of primal energy thrumming through the air.
The smell of woodsmoke and something wild, almost intoxicating, filled her senses.
He moved a few inches closer to her and their gazes locked for a brief moment.

His eyes held a question, a challenge, a spark of something primal and potent.

Her mind screamed at her to flee from this terrifying but handsome creature.
But something inside her, a deep, primal yearning, drew her closer.

She took a step forward.
Her hand was still reaching for the pepper spray, but a part of her still desperately wanted to feel his gaze, hear his growl and understand the creature who stood before her.

This was no longer just a fantasy.
This was her real chance to meet the werewolf.

She took another step.
The forest surrounded them closing in like a cage.
The air hung heavy with anticipation.
The rustling of leaves whispered the symphony of the unknown.

This was the meeting of two worlds, the collision of the human and supernatural.
Bella’s heart thumped like a drum against her ribs, ready to face the wild unknown.

Taking a deep breath, Bella slowly extended her hand.
"I'm not afraid," she whispered, her voice surprisingly steady. "I... I just want to understand you."

Samhain hesitated.
He felt the warmth of Bella's gaze on him.
Her breath caught in her throat as he moved.
Something stirred within him, something older than his wolf self.
It was a flicker of something he hadn't felt in centuries - a strange, alluring desire.

Bella leaned forward, feeling a little more confident, and traced her fingers along his jawline.
"You're handsome," she whispered.
She saw his eyes flickering to her hand and then back to her face.

Samhain took a step back, a hint of warning flashing in his golden eyes.
He was wary of her touch, the way her fingers danced across his face with a mixture of wonder and desire.

"Back off," Samhain growled in his low, booming voice. "I'm not a creature to be touched. I don’t belong in your world."

But Bella felt his tug and moved bolder, leaning closer.
"But you're here," she whispered, running her fingers along his jawline again.
"And I’m here too. I want to feel you."

Samhain, an instinctive and ferocious wolf creature, was mesmerized by Bella standing in front of him.
She’s both scared and fascinated by his presence.

"Stay back," he snarled, his voice hoarse with emotion. "Don't tempt me. I am a monster. I am a killer."

His words echoed through the forest, contrasting with the soft touch of Bella's hand.
The air around them crackled with ineffable emotions.

Bella lowered her hand, her eyes filled with concern and confusion.
She heard the pain in Samhain’s voice, beyond the wild beast's fury.

"Samhain," she whispered, "I... I don't see a monster in you. I see your pain."

Her words were spoken with such genuine sensitivity, piercing the walls he’d built inside his mind.
He was a wolf with primal instincts, but he was also an emotional, anguished and loveless creature.
