Lost Identity.

I stared at the letters tattooed into my right forearm. They read "M.C.," but what did that stand for? As I examined the tattoo, I realized I had no memory of how I got it or why I was in a hospital gown. I looked around, trying to piece together any clues that could help me understand my situation.

I was floating near a muddy river bank, surrounded by trees and dense grass. I could hear the distant sound of water flowing, and the air seemed heavy and muggy. I tried to recall something about my life, but all that came to mind was a jumble of feelings and images.

I felt bewildered and confused, and my head was throbbing. My legs felt as though they hadn't been used in a while as I tried to stand up since they were weak and wobbly. I lurched forward and fell to the ground after tripping over pebbles and branches.

Suddenly, I heard a rustling sound, and I turned my head to see a man approaching me. He had a kind face and was wearing a ranger uniform. "Are you okay?" he asked, helping me to my feet.

"I don't know," I said, feeling a wave of panic rising inside me. "I don't remember anything. Who am I?"

The ranger looked at me with concern. "You don't remember your name?"

"No," I said, feeling tears welling up in my eyes.

The ranger put his arm around me and guided me towards his jeep. "Don't worry, we'll get you some help," he said....
